The picture with Brian as a kid appears to be just after the FBI left..the sand is built up from not being leveled back down from what I recall..plus snow is visible if not mistaken?

It almost has to be that way ... no agent interviewed remembers Brian being there, or Harold either during the actual excavation.

If the money doesn't float how did it get from the bottom of the river to the top especially if you use the tideline as the reason it was found there? all the debris in the background likely floats...

A long hourly test could help..put a pack of bills on the shoreline just before the tide comes in. you would have to attach it somehow and see if it would lodge itself at the high tide line..also put one in place when the tide starts to go down? possibly using light fishing string..

Fly, you are showing the samething's I posted in 2016..the curve in the tree's have been shown numerous times over the years. the point here was convincing the location Tom provided was incorrect..things on the bottom of the river for periods of time would get covered with the build up of sand that causes them to constantly dredge. spring starts in March, not February. the money was suspended weeks, months or years. it can self bury on the beach and not in the river? lots of factors involved with hydraulics and movement...we would see lots of things on the shore that came from the bottom that was man made..

I also believe Palmer thinks the money floats..he states "just like driftwood"

Money doesn't float, TK has documented that, and it didn't get from the bottom of the river to the beach.  Note that the video shows the water level is at the high tide line.  Then the beach is relatively clear until it reaches the bottom of the bank just below the road where the vehicles are parked.

The debris field just below the road was caused by a very high water event or flooding and probably includes debris from the trees that are higher and adjacent to the road.  Note that the beach is quite steep where the FBI staked the money find location.  During flooding or other very high water events, some of the higher debris would have tendency to roll down the beach toward the water as the high water receded. That debris didn't come from the west side of the Columbia River.

Georger, the Fazio Brothers sand operation is south of the buildings and the entrance road.  The area that you have labeled was actually used to grow feed for the cows.

You are correct that Palmer did suggest that in the video.  And all that I am saying is that it probably started at a higher level than the location where the money was found.  So if it arrived several months after the hijacking, it would no longer have a flotation capability and would be moving along the bottom and heading for a lower level or lower energy level.  If the money bag moved to a higher level, something would have to be adding energy to the bag to get it higher.

Also note on the goggle pictures that show the money location, there are some parallel marks which would probably be vehicle marks.  Someone was apparently driving along that beach and it would probably be at low tide levels.

No recordings of flooding in 1980?

No exceptional high water events in 1980, prior to mid-February, suggests that the money arrived months earlier and probably during the spring 1979 run off or earlier.

I think things are beginning to make sense here.

What high waters could move it from Caterpillar island?

High water could move it from the Caterpillar Island area or the east bank of the Columbia in that channel.  The starting water level at Caterpillar Island would have to be several feet higher that the location where the money came to rest.

Everything in nature is moving from a higher energy level to a lower energy level except when something intervenes to increase the energy level.  Interventions could be such things as gasoline engines, chemical processes, etc., etc..

There is a General Energy Equation which is fundamental to science, or at least to engineering, that must be obeyed.  Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it just changes from one state to another.  And no natural process is 100 percent efficient.  So a portion of any process becomes unusable for other work, and that contributes to such things as global warming.

Cat island elevation is 13 feet...flooding of islands begins above 16' and would be recorded. lower roads flood above 17 feet..

Congratulations Mr.Kaye (and any others involved) on your diatom findings and recognition associated with it!!!    I am forever indebted, thank you sir.   Yes, there are still other "stories" of how the money got to it's location where it was found. (I believe someone asked that at one time recently)   Mr. Kaye, your TK1 is kind of close. As I said before, I wish they would have searched a little further inland.
