A quick look at Caterpillar Island shows debris on it as well?
Yes. imho winds would play a small role compared to current, for this whole area. Im no hydrologist but I think it has more to do with geography and pressure-flow patterns (zones) in the river, than with anything else. There is some serious debris and large trees that wind up on Caterpillar Isle and Tina Bar and there is some hydrological reason for it winding up on this shorelines...
I tried to talk to Amazon about this but got nowhere. As crazy as Paul is he comes the closest so far of seeing the central issue and the problem. Funny!
Paul mentions tennis balls being let go at the Washougal and winding up on Tina Bar - as if T-Bar is a target for some hydrological reason ........... JT made the same claim and said he had done this, but never could explain why.
Tide may play a role in this but Im guessing there is a stronger prevailing reason which has to do with current patterns and pressure zones in the Catepillar Island/Tina Bar (lagoon)?
