Blevins must have gotten it from somewhere and printed it out and taped it up and took a photo.
Maybe the image was online somewhere. Maybe it was at lulu in 2008.

Again, with the bomb in the window seat DBC had no other option but to use his right hand. This means nothing.

It is much more important to discuss the hand that he used to go in and out of the bomb when it was sitting on his lap...his left.

Not necessarily,, if was using his right hand for something like smoking or drinking he might use the left for the bomb.

There was another reference somewhere, still looking for it.

Okay, so the FBI has this guy's DNA, the stews haven't ID'd him, he hasn't committed any other crimes, he didn't visibly spend the money, why is this guy on anyone's radar again? All wife stories aside, really, why is this guy your candidate?

You have to resize images individually down to <200KB
You can have 600KB altogether for mutiple attachs, I believe.

Any jpg image resizer will do
I use the microsoft image resizer, generally down to the default small or medium choice is sufficient

Oh that circa 1973 photo is from a Parachutist article or something? Probably Sheridan gave it to the author?

Now I remember seeing it. Forget where.

So interesting: He grew the beard by 1973

But no beard while in Vietnam the first time. The pics I posted from Sheridan I think were from his first time in Vietnam

BUT: now that I think of it..I don't know. The pics I posted may be from the later time in Vietnam ..he did look older than the 1973 pic you just posted??

That's because only strict ascii characters are allowed. Not full UTF-8
You can't see the offending chars some times.
Use this web page to "Remove Diacritics" then copy/paste the result. That always works.

I believe it's a technical probably with how this site POSTs the textbox stuff. Some ways limit you to strict ascii.. Weird they don't have better error checking, or just allow full UTF-8 like most sites.

The site doesn't allow images with suffix .jpeg
rename to suffix .jpg

if in windows, you might have to adjust the view settings to show suffixes or filetypes or something like that before you can do it.

most image viewers will view .jpeg so it seems fine. But can't post here if .jpeg suffix. Just change to .jpg

The site has full UTF-8..the problem seems to be in the character setting "Latin 1"

Go into phpMyAdmin. Select your SMF database. Browse the smf_settings table. Look for an entry (variable field) named 'global_character_set'. It might not exist, in which case skip the next. Does it have a value? If it's "Latin-1" or "ISO-8859-1", there's your problem. If it's already "UTF-8", the problem lies elsewhere (something is overriding the selection of UTF-8).

This problem started several weeks ago when they moved the site..

If there is a 'global_character_set' and its value is not 'UTF-8', you need to edit that record.
