I think Sheridan was like Mick Jagger, spreading his seed with abandon. Unlike Mick he did not send regular support checks.

You're talking about Sheridan Jr?
what makes you think this is the Sheridan Jr that was born in 1970?
Sheridan Jr would be 48 years old now..

also: we shouldn't post phone numbers here...And not street addresses, generally.

I will note that I think the picture is of Sheridan Jr. I also know he has been in trouble with the law. Neither of the numbers posted is his cell number...I have that number and as previously mentioned briefly spoke with him.

You talked to a Sheridan Ramon Peterson, Jr, and he said he was the son of Sheridan Peterson and he was born in Nepal?

Or what did you discuss on the phone, with who?

It was Sheridan Ramon Peterson Jr. He spoke Japanese fluently, had the correct age, and when I told him I was conducting research on the DB Cooper case and that his father, Sheridan, was obviously a suspect and I'd like to speak with him about his his father and Nepal, even though he was probably too young to remember much, he said he'd be willing to talk but that he was at work (probably a lie) but that I could call him back Monday afternoon and he'd be available.

I just noticed that Alden James Peterson, Sheridan's brother died in 2011
That was like one year after Bruce interviewed him and Barbara?

I think Barbara is dead now too?

It comes up, because I'm seeing stuff that lists Alden James Peterson and Barbara Anne Peterson as a relative of Sheridan Ramon Peterson
which is odd...Why would they list him as a relative, without listing Sheridan Peterson (91)

Is Sheridan Ramon Peterson the wrong guy? The name Sheridan is the grandfather of Sheridan/Alden..so Alden could have named a son that?

Alden James Peterson
Birth   3 Sep 1933
Death 3 Feb 2011 Folsom, Sacramento, California

That seems to match the birth in Windsor, with mother Coffey

Mother   Coffey

What made you think he was in trouble with the law? Someone who travelled to Japan, speaks Japanese
What kind of crime?
Sounds like you have the right guy

You need to stop leading with the idea of "suspect" when you talk to people. No one is a "suspect" in this case..you're just turning people off unnecessarily. You're not going to put anyone in jail or anything..so why throw around the "suspect" word. That's just bullshit.

You're just a guy with a phone, not some criminal investigator.

Sheridan mentioned that his son had gotten mixed up in some illegal activity.

Sound advice for anybody 'working' socalled on the DB Cooper 'case' socalled.  :))

The case is closed. On the date the statute of limitations was expiring, the FBI did not have sufficient evidence to support the indictment of any known person. Their primary suspect remains John Doe.

I am fascinated with the possibility that the wife who lived with Sheridan in Nepal may still be alive.

If it ends up that his wife is still alive one has to seriously ask, why lie? No interview definitely looks suspicious.

I think we have to be sensitive about Sheridan Ramon Peterson, if it is the right guy.

Interestingly, he's only 3 degrees of contact away from me on Linkedin
He was in Marine Corps 89-93? Lance Corporal E3?

He's done some volunteer work (Habitats for Humanity) and plenty of real jobs

Yes he lists Japanese. Interesting thinking of him travelling in Japan with Sheridan?

He seems to be a pretty good guy. If there's any rumor that he's gotten into some problems, we shouldn't highlight them here.

He's not some deadbeat. Interesting he went to DeAnza College from 90-93

377 you'll like this
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree

In the Marines, Sheridan Jr. (apparently) was an Air Supply Combat Parachutist, per his Linkedin.
That's a crazy sounding job position.
