Thank you for leaving me off the list, Bruce... for you unwittingly did me a big favor...

My apologies, Dice. Not sure how that happened, other than the forgetfulness of age. If I had the time I'd go see a neurologist, but I have three other doctors to see this week. Plus, I'm going car shopping! Spent today at Toyota. There are 4 different kinds of Priuses. Whew. Plus Camry Hybrids. 42 mpg and tons of room.

And for the record I am not 150+ years old.

My bro and a friend both have Camry Hybrids that they have owned for years. Literally ZERO probs, just tire and oil changes. Both are now over 100K miles. Just remember that the batteries lose capacity over time and recharge cycles so an old high mileage hybrid may be a lot closer to a pure gas car in operating economics.

Wonder what DBC's ride was? Caddy? Vette? Dodge Dart? At 1971 DZ parking lots you didn't see many imports. But we can't be sure he was a skydiver.

Jo is angry that I am challenging her on her packer, rigger 727 airdrop spotter claims about Duane. She is learning about peer review.

Put up a live cam for Jo so you can keep track! Another for Blevins? You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login and You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login.

Im surprised Blevins hasnt already set up a live-cam on his enemies, at Adventure Books Investigations and House Cleaning! ? Maybe he has! ?  Bruce could feature it on his rag-n-tell ? O0

Thanks for the McMurdo webcam link G. I was unaware of it before.

I like this one, Farallon Islands. can select view. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

North Landing cam view will eventually pick up a live Great White shark attack on the seals and sea lions that cavort in this narrow dead end.

Been looking diligently for any verification of Jo's claim that Intermountain did 727 airdrops of comm gear packages (with Duane allegedly spotting).  No way Duane had any role but wanted to see if any of the Spook Airlines actually did domestic 727 airdrops. Nothing found.

I am researching a tight group of three POI(s)... accomplices?

one was a fighter pilot in Europe (1960's) business partner with person identified in "Dan Cooper" comic
one was in an environment that matched all the tie particles from 66-71 (dental lab - best match so far) have video of him flying over TBAR/Vancouver Lake
one is an exact match to the 2nd Cooper sketch (never seen a closer match)

Not proof, still trying to unravel it.

Intriguing. Awaiting chapter 2.

Ditto. Would like to know what you know about these men. I back-and-forth on accomplices, but would love to know more in this instance. And while many many people do look like the composite, it's hard to deny the similarity, at least from this shot. (Any neck pics? Was he a gobble-gobble neck?) ;) Very interesting.

LOL - have been watching lots of early 70s TV shows to get a feel for the times for the fiction. OMG, those cars - some of them looked like you could stuff bodies into the hood AND the trunk! Did they advertise them that way? "Chevrolet Monte Carlo. Comfortable enough for the living. Roomy enough for the dead."

update:

I don't have proof and likely never will (without forensics) so reluctant to name him now. (Only the FBI will be able to put somebody on the plane, but they dropped it so it'll never happen)

but, in that pic it isn't clear which side the hair is parted. I found another image which clearly shows the hair parted on the LEFT, but no noticeable turkey neck. Hair parted on LEFT matches the FBI description.

If the tie did come from a dental lab environment that matches the other person (1966-71) who is a very close "associate" to this guy. The tie was made in 1965/66. That would suggest more than 1 person involved.

It is all circumstantial but seems to be pushing the bounds of randomness. If the FBI had this information back in the 70's they would be talking to these guys.

I haven't chatted with Gene Bland in several days...I don't think he would mind me giving the name of his suspect..

Dave Snider is his name..he was a USAF survival instructor from "Stead" and a skydiver..he never went into detail about him other than using the money to buy a DZ in Emporia KS..he left the USAF in 65 and was killed in a plane crash (CE-206) this crash can be found online..

Gene didn't really push him as a suspect..he said that's who he thinks did the hijacking..also from the New England area..

Well being killed prematurely, sure would settle the thought I've had about how unlikely it'd be that Cooper would fade out, and not take credit/notoriety for the caper.  When dying one wants nothing more than eternity and being IDed as the folk hero would offer appeasement to the extinguishing light. Maybe not before the death but soon after by close family, I'd fully expect a reveal.
So I always figured, that if the unsub is dead already, either it was without warning, or a CIA op where they cannot disclose, and even the latter I'd expect some leak eventually.
How effing queer would it be that Cooper would die naturally and nobody ever disclosing who it was....

I firmly believe the Government had no take in this or they would of easily buttoned up all the loose ends not letting it drag out for decades to be uncovered..this always seems to be the case when things go unsolved...

send in Cooper...do the crime and later that week find him dead from a no pull..they could respond later saying all kinds of things were found at his home explaining why he did it etc. etc. a very simple false flag to produce IMO...
