I've been thinking about it some more. There have been big setbacks due to misinformation and petty vindictive behavior.

CKRET was a huge asset, a real active duty FBI SA with a strong personal interest in solving the Cooper case and the freedom to communicate directly with Vortex dwellers and fellow travelers. Jo got him shut down with her petty complaints to his superiors. Like him or not (I liked him) CKRET was a unique asset and he was taken away from us. Jo didn't care. CKRET didn't think Duane was DBC so he was of no value to her.

There you have it. Multiply that by x40 and you have some idea of the manpower resources Seattle had to devote to the Cooper social media vortex, socalled. That is what I mean when I say "some things mean exactly what they say" referring to the FBI shutting down things down due to resources. What they are talking about is the social media vortex, imho.

These Cooperite suspect peddlers are highly competitive. They compete with each other and with everyone else. With the exception of Colbert they havent contributed much to the understanding of the case except that they give an excuse for people discussing the case at length. It isnt focused debate but it is debate (plus a lot of confusion and personal stuff). It always seems to carry with it an "edge" or "baggage" ... it always results in personal attacks! That is not productive discussion.

Back in the day there were a few discussion sites and things were generally civil - Websleuths, for one. Then Dropzone took on Jo Weber, then Ckret joined, then Dropzone deteriorated after Ckret left (partly due to Weber), and then only three people were left and dominated Dropzone:  Jo Weber, Blevins, and Bruce Smith. Blevins was accusing me publicly of having been banned at DZ after I had already been gone a full year, after Shutter's forum was opened!

It is what it is.

Most popular unsolved crimes survive through time...today, the younger generation doesn't care. I see a lot of "quit wasting tax payers money, or he didn't steal enough to be chased for decades, or, he's an old man now" they don't see any reasoning in the chase.

Movie deals, sure, everyone has a right to make a film..it's the damage it might cause vs the good it could do..Robert is well aware of the problems with the book, but those who watch the film (if it happens) will not. you start getting the old "it's a true story" thingy from people who hardly know who Cooper was. nothing has been verified by anyone.

I was a little upset when The Learning channel bumped me, not because I didn't get on television. it was all the time I wasted with them..40-50 emails, phone calls all day long and into the evening..I learned my lesson, this won't happen again..I was told 2 days before I was to fly out to California...more shows will surface I'm sure..

4 of us were picked by Atlas productions to do a show about Cooper, but they wanted to do a year long deal..I tried to tell them it wouldn't work, but they went ahead anyway...they never did respond as to what happened..when they no longer need you, they vanish...(poof)

I wasn't around when Carr was on the DZ..wish I could have been. I follow his direction a lot, and often use quotes of his to explain things. yes, Jo was way out of line with what she did...just imagine putting Jo,Blevins,Colbert, and Marla in one room  now that's entertainment.....

OK, time for honesty. You were too sophisticated for the Learning Channel, as it turned out. Too much on task. Too intellectual! Now, if you had offered to demonstrate a Cooper Voodoo Dance they might have had you front and center. Who can follow the machinations of tv production companies. Lurid seems to keep their attention.

All of that is a kind way of saying, I think you got screwed. They obviously didn't have a good way of working your simulations in! That's their loss and the public's loss.

Jo is now claiming that "Intermountain Communications" did low altitude low speed comm package drops from 727s in the 1960s and Duane was a rigger and spotter. When I asked for proof about Intermountain 727 airdrops, she claims she provided it earlier (she didn't) and that all her data and files have gone "poof" possibly due to meddling on her system by an "ex CIA". Sigh...

I have done a lot of research on 727 airdrops. Nothing I have seen supports her claims. I don't discount everything that Jo says, she might stumble across relevant info since she emails half the universe, but these 727 airdrop claims and Duane's involvement seem to be made up.

She may be confusing Intermountain Communications You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login with Intermountain Aviation and Intermountain Airways, known CIA fronts. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

These aren't necessarily mutually exclusive.  The Cooper case is darn interesting but it stopped being a good use of tax payer money 30 years ago.  It's up to Cooper sleuths to see to it that this case sticks around.

Correct, but without the whole story (files) it will probably remain unsolved for a long time..the FBI has critical information needed to move forward..a big one would be what they have to weed suspects out...access to the files, all of them..it will never happen though...

The 302's released are good, but each file has a certain amount of pages, but most of them have doubles and triples of the same page..borring accounts of people saying they know someone who looks like the sketch etc. etc.

I just found out that a residence I have been looking into is in the "970xx" postal code matching the same postmark "970xx" as the Playboy letter #3.

but I can't find the precise timeline for residency and ownership.. I have some names linked to the residence but not the exact dates.

Anybody know where to get those records..

looks like it has to be in person..

"To research previous owners of property in Clackamas County, visit the Recording Division of the Clackamas County Clerk's office"

Is the county appraiser also on the site, or did you find the info needed?

I found the current "assessment" record only online..  not the historical records.

Looks like this county requires in person historical records search.. Since I am in Canada it might be a while before I get down there..
