Fun to see the McCoy story again. Even better was seeing the only on-camera appearance - that I know of - of Bernie Rhodes. Lots of screen time for Russ Calame, too. Also, Nick O'Hara.

I've watched this show many times..something new always pops up...it was interesting that they got his basic description correct! 25-30 years old, even though McCoy looks a little older....

what happened to these stews...is there mental status all screwed up? McCoy had visible danger showing all the time (weapon & explosive)

Is it only the stews of 305 in need of a "safe space"

I am glad that this air piracy was handled much better by the FBI. I think Cooper that caught everyone off guard. I think that the Cooper would have been solved if it the airplane had been processed better. I hope one day they can say for sure who Cooper and how he did it even if he is dead.

I think the pilot put panic into the passengers by announcing over the P.A. the stews should of done it to prevent less panic...

I don't see much difference? nobody got hurt, they gave him everything he asked for, and the crew did everything just like the crew of 305..

They caught their suspect and didn't make errors that Seattle division did. The Seattle division let a local police agency process the plane. Magazines were tossed which could have had his fingerprints on it. Losing the cigarette butts was inexcusable. It seems odd that took a hard look at Duane Weber, and LD Cooper when there wasn't much going for them. I think that they shuld have looked closer at McCoy, he had told Calame that Cooper had lost of the money. I think that he either knew who Cooper was or was Cooper.

they did look closely at McCoy...you are getting brainwashed by these guys trying to prove McCoy was Cooper..none of there evidence has ever been proven as fact! how do you write a book about this, and leave out proof other than saying "records were found"?

his photo, like many others was shown to the crew..they said no...this was a very short time after the Northwest hijacking, so memories were crisp.

show me proof "documentation" that a credit card was used, and McCoy was missing in Utah, actual proof, not words? the Seattle, and Portland FBI disagree with these guys...they never even had access to the Cooper files to begin with?

What 'local police agency' ?  I assume you are talking about Reno?  Identify your "local police agency" YOu may be correct in your description of what happened during the plane search at Reno but, what us the source of your information?

Who are you?  You seem to be speaking with authority. Do you have actual credentials in this matter?

You keep referring to "they" - who is this "they"?  Keep in mind you are referring to different 'they'(s) stretched out over very long time periods. Your "they" cant be all the same people!

I think that he either knew who Cooper was or was Cooper. ???  Ma ze ha b'Englit? (Please translate into English?)

Calame never showed the records in the book but gave it to the FBI. He was retiring after the McCoy case. I hope that it shows in the released files that the FBI has.

it was Reno, not Seattle. He told Calame that Cooper lost most of the money. My thoughts are that he knew something, and they should have pressed on and tried to get more info out of him. I have read the book the real McCoy. I would give you a page where I read that but a friend is borrowing the book.

There is no documentation that shows Cooper lost any of the money during the jump.  Also, the price of Cooper's ticket was exactly $20.00 which he paid with a twenty dollar bill, the source for this information is the agent that sold the ticket to Cooper.

It really doesn't matter about the book...we don't know if they really gave the FBI anything since they fail to provide any proof. they claim a lot, but fail to show anything of value.

the case files on these suspects can be rather large..agent Carr went round and round with Jo Weber..he stated a 600 page file was sitting on his desk about Duane Weber...the point, we don't have all the information the FBI has with these suspects. they rule them out for a reason. just because it looks good on the outside, doesn't mean it looks good on the inside.
