And I'll buy one to a KC movie.

Am curious why you would choose to pay money to see a film of KC, when he has been ruled out by most... better spent on renting Brokeback Mountain on Netflix....
I can understand wanting to pay to see a film of psychopathy and CIA stuff in Rackstraw, even if he wasn't Cooper... but the rest of them who were not??  I'd rather spend the ten bucks on something else.

$10? Only costs me $6, I'm a senior  ;). ANY DBC related movie will get a look from me.

I don't think KC was DBC. It would be INSANE to skyjack one of your employers acft if you were aircrew. Too much chance of being recognized by colleagues who had flown with you.  Blevins knows I don't think KC was DBC but that doesn't prevent civil conversations about the case in general.

I was an early donor to Brian's efforts to keep the Ariel Store going. It may be money down the drain but I had a great time there during the Portland Symposium and was happy to try and help keep it alive.

So we have Coopers of every persuasion and sexual orientation, but no credible Black Cooper has been proposed. If we can have brown contacts why can't we have Olive makeup?

I'm with 377 - I'll watch just about any DBC movie, docu, whatever. It's entertaining to see what facts catch some people's attention, and what they get wrong. It's like sitting on a park bench and "people watch" - the world goes by in all its flavors.

I'm enthralled by all Cooper stuff...Is he not the most interesting man of the last century? I say so. But that is where it ends...For we know KC wasn't Cooper, so there is no interest there for me, at all.  To me there has to be plausibility of being Cooper...

Personally, I wouldn't pay to see any of these Cooper movies. I'll wait for Netflix  8) they must be hiring block buster actors if they can pay 15k for "small details"  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I always envisioned DiCaprio playing Cooper.  Or maybe John Turturro.

If you remember Geoffrey Gray on the Travel Channel/Expedition Unknown episode, he talks about Cooper as if he is unsophisticated, unkept
poor white trash who can't even wear decent clothes or a tie.  If Cooper really is such a backwards bumpkin, then why has he remained one of the most interesting men of the 20th century?  Cooper might, in fact, be smarter than Geoffrey Gray, but don't say that too loudly.

Once again, it's Geoffrey Gray and his usual big to-do about nothing.

Gregory Peck would have made a great Cooper.

Actually getting $15K for "small Cooper details" would be truly remarkable.

Never forget: Dreams of profits are routinely ripped apart by the mighty Cooper Vortex.

Look at how much Colbert has spent. Blevins too. Geoff Gray's Portland symposium wasn't cheap either.

Bruce did his Cooper book on a pauper's budget so he might actually turn a profit. And who knows, Blevin's KC movie deal might pay off. Sure hope so.

Pay off for whom?  O0

It sure has kept his brand alive!  with no small amount of support from you,.  C:-)

The stalker is still on the streets!  C:-)  Maybe next time he will hang himself in his cell?  :-\  If there is a next time. I mean for his victims, not him!  :D   Does he have contacts in North Korea? You can tell us - we wont tell. Will any Cooper forum exist after Blevins?

And never mind the merits of his mutant KC story, through all of the above machinations. Let's agree on one thing - Blevins is entertainment for the masses of the Unwashed.  :-X  Bring in the clowns.

What Blevins has done, like so many others, is 'milk the void' in the Cooper Vortex. He is a cult.

The book cost about a thou to get off the ground - ISBN numbers, editing, graphic design, page set-up, etc., for Amazon specs. Another thou in marketing: mostly sending free copies to all the principals, such as Tina, Flo, Alice and the gang; Detlor, Himms, and other feddies; and then off to bookstores and libraries.

I got a big bump in book sales from the HC docu in July, and another in January from the TC show, for a total of two grand in gross. Since then, I'm averaging about 200-hundred a month in royalties, so I've made about $800-1,000 in profit. Not too shabby for eight years of writing!

RMB, when you read this, please don't bother sending me any emails about how you could make me SO much more money. I delete all your emails, so please save me the trouble of doing some more.

I had to cut off Blevins too.  I do not read his emails anymore.  You'd think the guy would get the message that people go away when he gets spiteful, disrespectful, and arrogant.  Some people never learn....

It's pretty obvious that he's not going to change. he always feels that he is right, and everyone else is wrong. there is nothing left of the horse to beat on this one  8) stick a fork in it, it's toast...

It's obvious the problem is not going to go away. Some here want to keep it going. 377 and Mr. Smith.

Maybe its time to reconsider and find another outlet. Maybe its time to close this forum and do something else or nothing at all, and let Blevins have the only DB Cooper forum ... which 377 and Mr. Smith can attend while the rest of us just quit or do something else.

Because I am sick of this whole thing.

There it is right on the table. Sooner or later one is forced to move from a bad neighborhood.

Blevins is not going to stop - killing forums and competition is his stock-and-trade. And neither are 377 and Mr Smith going to stop bringing it up.  Every time this happens is saps the entire energy away from the central reason for this forum - its takes days if not weeks to recover. Then the next round happens, from the same sources. Maybe one solution would be for 377 and Smith to form their own forum, with Blevins and Jo?

The problem is not going away. Whatever is going to happen I need a break. Time will tell ...

Georger,

Nobody who is civil has to be excluded from this forum and I am generally a civil person.

If you don't like what I post just skip over it. How hard is that?

Banning me because I don't hate Blevins would be childish.
