I will say this about Georger: he challenged me too, directly, on my being a guest with Mike Fitzsimmons. Georger does his homework and I believe he treats people fairly and equally. But I don't think he likes persistent bullshitters who are peddling their wares as "true stories" without solid back-up. Probably why Georger is taking on certain people who lack credentials, but still try and speak with authority. Physics professors, with application of pure logic 24/7, can smell impostors, better than most.
To Mark (377): hey, I cleaned toilets, scrubbed floors, and peddled newspapers too. For many years. And worked heavy duty construction. Fished. etc... And paid all grad school bills with my own savings. A lot of us have been there. Probably Georger too. I think Georger's point is that people who are 60 years old and still do that for a living usually don't have the credentials to engage a particular type of professional work. It has little to do with being stuck up. It has to do with qualifications and having paid dues to play in the game. Blevins has not. And spinning a yarn endlessly, praying it will catch on, does not impress those who have true qualifications.
Lastly, about Jo Weber: She scares not. My own grannie told me about old people who act with vengeance and meanness. They never learned to be kind and help others. Jo is Exhibit A. On her way out with nothing, but a checkered past (which I know all about), and like Blevins, hoping anyone will buy her tale. Besides, my grannie told me that she'll meet Jo Weber anytime and place Jo wants......and I'd put money on my grannie. She would wump Jo Weber's ass.
