After reading the John Doe indictment with no mention of co-conspirators, I agree that the statute of limitations has run out for them. At the very least any co-conspirators could make a very good case that it has. Since they could get off scot-free I think co-conspirators may be his Achilles heel.

Is there a full copy of the indictment here - in the vault? A pdf or something?

The physical description given at the start of that indictment impressed me. General, rather broad physical description, then specific on a couple of points. That is probably the best physical description of Cooper ever given, especially if you check it against stewardess testimony... ?

Nope, that's all there is. someone could possibly look into getting a copy if they didn't seal the document...

I went to the website but you need a doc to pdf converter app?  The website tried to install one on my computer and I stopped that .... but somewhere on that url that was posted it appeared there is the full indictment (in several file formats).

Thanks Aeronaught.  I think associates of Rackstraw is the way to go.  Clearly Rackstraw plans to keep quiet.

Maybe Nicky is playing us, Parrot -- or maybe he's just being cagey? His August talk about the alleged de Winter guy in Astoria turned out to be true. The next month, the town paper dug up old articles about him:

Skipp Porteous was never really into DB Cooper. I don't see any reason why someone would be interested in what Skipp has to offer, plus his health, so why would someone even bother the guy? he did a horrible job investigating Christiansen. he failed to note, or overlooked things that could of answered a lot of the mysterious questions raised by Robert Blevins. Skipps involvement with Cooper was almost a decade ago.

I don't know what his end game is, if he even has one. Bottom line, I think he is trolling. I don't believe he was ever working with TC, as he claimed. I don't believe he has ever met Rackstraw, much less been on his boat. And I don't believe he was with Porteus. Of course, I have been wrong on things in the past and will most certainly be wrong again in the future. If I'm wrong here, all he has to do is prove me wrong. Pretty simple.

What did Nicky have to do with the de Winter story?  That was Colbert's story and it was presented on the History Channel.  Did Nicky add anything to it, or just repeat it?

Speaking of Nicky, here's another one I'm curious about - He said last week to have seen Rackstraw's ticket stub from the 1971 Grey Cup Game. I don't mean any disrespect, shutter, but a 2012 radio transcript online actually says that there IS a Cooper connectin to those four "DBC letters" (says a guest Gailen Cook...). In particular the one mailed right after that Grey Cup Game, in Vancouver, BC. Then I found this article that came out about three months ago:

So... I ask again, IS he playing us, or just being cagey?? I'm thinking cagey!

George, you can count me in. I was already playing with some software which is supposed to expose links and I think I could help you with this. Once we ID them we can work on contact info and approach them.

Galen Cook is also trying to prove a suspect. nobody in law enforcement seems to believe any connection. that's what I go by. ALDI has also exposed the magazines used in one of the letters, but it still doesn't connect Cooper IMO. if they were signed "Dan Cooper" I would give them more backing. I think it would have been a lot easier to send a $20 bill, if one was looking for fun?

You can disagree with me all day, I'm not perfect....that's what we are here for, understanding the case. discussing it properly is the goal. I could be totally off course, but my opinion is it's possible they are a hoax.

Jo Weber claims to have seen the actual plane ticket!
Robert Blevins says a little girl seen Kenny making the bomb?
Marla Cooper states she overheard here uncle state he lost the money on the way down?
Dozens more just like these above..

Now, we have Nicky stating more critical evidence has been seen, but can't be verified?

Thanks Aeronaught, that would be extremely helpful.  I'm a visual kind of guy. Much prefer a picture over endless verbiage. A picture is worth...

I think we should start with some general categories of associates. Maybe family & lovers, military, drug ring, coworkers, corrupt cops. Any others?
