Maybe if I ask nice and send her a plane tix, Marla will come and read her $103 book to me. I'll pour the wine, too.

Marla's book is pricey, but it's not that pricey.

I have officially jumped on the RWR bandwagon after speaking with one of his estranged relatives (his aunt, wife of his uncle John "Ed" Cooper" and an employee at a second hand store who verifies selling the exact same outfit cooper wore and Identified rackstraw as the one she sold it to.

Q1: Where is the second hand store?
Q2: What makes RWR so memorable that a salesperson can remember them from 45 years ago?

Ducky I rather not say for now as the store is actually still in business and I promised the owner.

He identified himself as Norman and I sent her RWR photos and she confirms that is him...

You've got me intrigued Nicki.  What made you pick that store?

Okay, I'll bite - area of where?  Stockton? Astoria? Corvallis? Albany?  Also, how do you know RWR's aunt?

So a person remembers a customer that they sold a suit to 45 years ago? Of all the customers that have come in and out of that store for the last half century and for some reason they remember this one particular person and can identify him in a photo?

Hmmm......

Welcome to Cooper World, Ra-D.

Plus, the owner doesn't want to be identified! But anyone in America who has run the same used-clothing store for OVER 45 years deserves to have her story told! All of America wants to know.

This employee lived in Astoria and already knew of him as Norman Dewinter the swiss baron although she had never spoken to him until that day when he came into the store. I can not believe TJ missed this key witness, I was very intrigued by what she told me which is case sensitive for now as I am launching my own investigation into Airborne Bob...but I promise to reveal more details when I can fellas.

If, in the days following the hijacking, this employee realized they recently sold a suit to a guy that might be the hijacker, why didn't they come forward with this info?

And if they didn't realize it then, why and how are they realizing it 45 years later?

That was one thing that felt off with the History Channel doc. These witnesses being shown a photo of Rackstraw and saying "Yup that's the guy that crashed on our couch a half century ago." Huh? I had a lot of random people crash on my couch during my college days too and there's no way I could identify any of them today. And that was only ~15 years ago, not 45.  I couldn't help but wonder how someone could reasonably remember such a minute detail from so long ago.
