Parachute was found by Darrell G Ray of Kelso, WA... and he's still alive... Might be someone worth talking to, according to the FBI documents, the FBI didn't even bother investigating the parachute

Camp Kalama is directly next to I-5 10 miles north of Woodland.

The canopies in the backpack parachutes given to Cooper were all white.  The white and orange canopies were probably from USAF parachutes and would not be related to the Cooper hijacking.  A simple look at the canopies could rule them out.

Update on DB Cooper Party at Nick's Tavern

I got word from a CooperCon attendee, Scott F., that he went to the shindig at Nick's Tavern in Amboy last Saturday. Not nearly up to Ariel standards. No live music and no particular DB Cooper vibe. Just locals on a Saturday night.

I didn't go since I had frozen pipes and stuff to take care of at home.

Maybe CooperCon 2020 can have a fully scheduled after-party, with live music and LOTS of dancing.

Update on DB Cooper Party at Nick's Tavern

I got word from a CooperCon attendee, Scott F., that he went to the shindig at Nick's Tavern in Amboy last Saturday. Not nearly up to Ariel standards. No live music and no particular DB Cooper vibe. Just locals on a Saturday night.

I didn't go since I had frozen pipes and stuff to take care of at home.

Maybe CooperCon 2020 can have a fully scheduled after-party, with live music and LOTS of dancing.

I'm quite certain something along these lines can be organized for CooperCon 2020.
