Someone, over at Bruce's Satanic site, says:
As I recall, Lithium tanalate was one of the materials found on the tie, it’s a photodiode used for detecting infrared radiation. Combined with a photo emitting material, like the material found in light emitting diodes, direct conversion to visible light takes place. So, it’s very feasible that the sunglasses that the Cooper UNSUB so conspicuously wore, had such a coating. With a pattern of gas powered infrared lanterns on the ground, the UNSUB would be able to make a fairly precise jump. And…the FOIA files show that he jumped right near LeCenter WA, with it’s large areas of conjoined plowed fields, and very near the freeway that goes right down to California, I5 I believe it was and still is. Do I currently know the exact recipe for this coating, no but I can find out.
That’s another point that you and the neo-genius haven’t said much about… the peculiarity that the Cooper UNSUB had sunglasses that went with him. Hmm? Well, the sunglasses would attenuate visible light and help accentuated infrared detection in doing so, in conjunction with the infrared conversion coating. Get it? Well maybe you don’t, but I’ll bet that many other people would.
Summing: So, it’s very feasible that the sunglasses that the Cooper UNSUB so conspicuously wore, had such a coating. Well, the sunglasses would attenuate visible light and help accentuated infrared detection in doing so, in conjunction with the infrared conversion coating. Get it? Translation: Cooper's sunglasses had an infrared sensitive coating to spot gas powered infrared lanterns on the ground, which means he made a fairly precise jump/landing. Get it? Well maybe you don’t, but I’ll bet that many other people would.
Comment: Hmmmmm.
Let's contemplate on this.
