Streets flooded over here..close call with the tornado in cooper city...more coming in the next half hour or so...another tornado watch till 12:45

Canal behind  me over flowing and now level with my property..came up about 4 feet.

Starting to bob to the east now (NNE) which brings more wind over here..

Stay safe man. Hope you avoid the flooding. I'm still repairing my basement from our July storm that brought about 10 inches of water into our house. Not fun.

All is well, still windy but the water is off the streets..they claim a tornado hit two streets over from me but I believe most of these accounts were microbursts and not tornado's..3-4 accounts in my general area or within a 20 mile radius..

Glad all is well, Shut. All my friends on the Gulf Coast are safe and accounted for. Same can't be said for many.

Big News - I'm Retiring

Yup, after CC22 next week I will officially retire as Mayor of Cooperville. I want to live a simpler life and one more closely connected to nature. My reasons for coming to Washington 32 years ago have concluded, so I will be leaving the Evergreen State and going into the big unknown. Some destinations are known in the short term. On November 22 I will be returning to NY to finish closing out my mother's house and selling it. Closing on the house is expected to take place around February 1, 2023, and at that point I will slide into my pick-up and drive to Key West to go for a swim in the warmest ocean water I can find. I'm also thinking of parking in long-term at Miami International and heading to Puerto Rico or the Virgin Islands for a week or two.

After that, I will head back to Eatonville to finish cleaning-out all my stuff from my rental RV on a buddy's six acres. After that, I don't know - the desert? French Polynesia? Santa Fe? Buy a boat and sail the ocean blue?

As a result of these life changes, I will be traveling light - very light. Hence, I cannot and will not take my Cooper stuff with me. I have 14 years worth of notes, interviews, and investigations. Do any of you want it? Also, I will be giving away all the Cooper references materials and books I have accumulated since 2008. You want any? Galen has got dibs on my copy of Himms' NORJAK, GG's Skyjack, and HAHAHA. Other than that, it's all up for grabs and I'll be bringing it down to Vancouver next week. First come, first serve.

Lastly, I will always continue to answer questions from those who call, chat on podcasts, and sell my books - DB Cooper and the FBI, 3rd Edition.

So, adios my friends. Love you all.

Bruce, I hate to see you leave Coopertown, you will be missed. I do wish you would reconsider, but at the same time I must admit that I'm a bit jealous. In a perfect world, you would see the conclusion of the DB Cooper case before you set sail. But, as we all know, it's not a perfect world...but who knows?? I wish you the best!!

Oh wow, Bruce!! Well I'm so glad I'll be able to meet you next week before you ride off into the sunset!

Do you have a copy of Tosaw's Dead or Alive and/or The Real McCoy that I could have?

Yup, it's yours.

As for my adventures: the central part of it will be working in consciousness. Who knows, maybe I'll perfect my remote viewing and get the straight skinny from Danny himself. I assure you, my interlude on a tropical beach sipping pina coladas will be brief. Two weeks tops. Absolute boredom will have set in by then.

Afterwards, direct contact with those folks who are called "aliens" is high on my list, along with hobknobbing with Bigfoot, aka the Forest People.

The Distribution, as it is seen now

Rob Bertram in Vancouver, WA is gonna get the lion's share of the files. Marty Andrade is gonna get stuff on Rataczak, Don Burnworth, and Max Gunther.

Ole Miss Cub gets Tosaw's Dead or Alive.

Galen gets HAHAHA, NORJAK, and Skyjack.

Other distributions may be forthcoming.

I wish you the best Bruce.  Maybe someday Ill see you in NY if I am down in Jersey visiting my daughter?  I am in upstate near Rochester.  So to you an any others, how much stock do you all put into Eric's new theory?  This new suspect?  Ill see if I can find anything on the  other threads.    Good luck Bruce.  I am wondering if you will stay in the NW or move back East?  Im sure you do not know yet

I nominate Darren Schaefer as the new
Mayor of Cooperville.
He is completely neutral like Bruce was and
I think that's the type of person Cooperville needs
as its Mayor.

Glad you're moving on for positive reasons.  Your contributions to Cooperville over the years have been wonderful and are deeply appreciated.  I read here much more than I post, and consider you one of the pillars and founders of this current forum.  Take care and may you have fair winds and following seas!
