Netflix Docu

The Netflix series has kicked up an unexpected amount of dust particles, in my view. Here's the latest podcast to wrestle with Colbert and Cooper.

It's called "JimSpiracy" and is hosted by a live-wire of a guy named James "Uncle Jimmy" Dobbs. As the title suggests, he sees the shadows of conspiracy around most tree trunks. But is a former cop and military, so he's been around the block a few times.

Anyone seen Chael Sonnen's video on how he knows who the real DB Cooper is and how everyone else is.

Yep. Just another person that thinks they have all the answers, but they don't...

I interviewed Chael concerning his claims about knowing that his grandfather was DBC, about five years ago. He's an incredible mix of arrogance, obfuscation, and ignorance.

I don't know anything about Sonnen, and I'm not disagreeing with you guys, but it's kind of funny to think that there might be someone out there who does know who Cooper is, and nobody believes them.

Hey Bruce is Chael's guy in fact his grandfather? I've heard him say family friend but he didn't want to reveal the name

My actual notes are back in Cooper Country and I'm in NY for a spell. But Chael told me it was his grandfather, or a friend of his grandfather who was a close family friend. Still didn't get a name, but that's what he said. No direct, concrete evidence, but he looked like the sketch, had survival skills up the ying-yang, and had the balls big enough to do the job.

I've been on the Island that is Long. Nassau County. 15 miles from the ocean. Went for a swim yesterday at Point Lookout. Delightful. Gonna be here for awhile taking care of family business. Let's get a beer sometime, eh?

Wish I had checked earlier.  I was not far from you.  You should take a drive up 27 to Montauk and hit the Lobster Roll.  Lobster bisque as good as it is in Cape Cod.  The restaurant where they shot the Affair series on Showtime.  Montauk is such a scenic place.  Was there last summer. Its likely a two hour drive with traffic from you?

Question for everyone…

Is there a reason why this forum has 500 page mega threads? If someone wants to make a Richard McCoy thread or a thread just about the reserve chutes, is there anything preventing them from doing so? It seems like this forum would be much more discussion and research friendly if all the information and knowledge we have wasn’t contained within a single giant mega thread. Going forward wouldn’t having individual threads make discussing and parsing through all of this information much easier to digest? For example, if right now I wanted to read what everyone has to say about Wolfgang, I have to comb through 500 pages or tediously use the search function. That sucks. It would be so much nicer if all the discussion about Wolfgang or whomever was contained in one place. Same with the parachutes for example or Earl Cossey, etc. So why not going forward we have a Braden thread and a Christensen thread, etc, and if someone wants to make a Klansnic thread then they can do so.

I’ve been a member of this forum for over five years now and I’m just curious if there’s a reason we aren’t doing that. Is it simply because no one has started a Ted Braden thread, for example?

Personally, I think the mega threads might also scare off new people who might want to join in the conversation because it just looks so daunting to see a 500 page thread.

Good luck if you  wanted to start a thread about Richard Floyd McCoy.  It would disappear just like it disappeared from YouTube, the History channel's excellent show that did portray McCoy as Cooper and a certain somebody did not like that.  I know damn well who pulled it.  The guy with the "juice" to have it pulled.  Because he is 100% certain its not McCoy, nobody else had better think it was him either.   And Colbert paid a huge price not only financially, but walks away with mud on his face for backing Rackstraw so diligently.  I do not think Rackstraw was McCoy, but he has a right to go forward and present his case.  The History channel's doc on McCoy was fabulous.  FBI agent Callum was on it and is one of many that do believe McCoy was Cooper.  Now since Im on the subject, let me add I am a bit disappointed in Mr Gryder that he has put up no part 2 as promised?  What is up Dan Gryder?

I love Montauk. Was gonna take the train from Mom's and spend a night there, but things got too crazy with her health, and the cheapest motel I could find was 300 bucks a night. Most were $1,000 and up per night.

But I just bought a 2011 Ford Ranger yesterday, so I'll be driving out there soon. Yup, about two hours from mom's. I LOVE the Lobster Roll - haven't been there in about ten years or so. How much is a lobster roll these days? 50 bucks? 75? At TOBAY Beach it was 39.

No its reasonable.  The hotels you are spot on  I paid $500 a night last year.  The hotel was not worth it, you are paying for being right on the ocean.  Its a great place but its over priced. If I could find a hotel for $300 id jump at it. I got caught for 3 hours at the George Washington bridge coming back.  10 hour drive back to Rochester.  Nuts. You are in a good spot for August. If you make it up there, the Lobster Roll was fabulous last year.  I would try and get there early though. Like no later than noon.  The bisque was fabulous. I had a Flounder sandwich also.  Cant get that around here.  The Flounder caught off those shores are one of the best fish you will ever eat.  (along wiith Alaskan Halibut).  Have fun Bruce
