I saw something of interest to the case on Facebook, someone  talked to a former  secret service agent who  thinks  that  the missing cigarette  butts may be in existence. It's  speculated that  one may have been taken as a souvenir by someone. I won't  hold  my breath expecting that they  turn up, but it would be awesome if it did.

Hopefully it's not the one that Tina smoked !

Yes, that could be interesting. Would Tina's dna prove viable after all this time ? That would be a good test case! Anything to motivate some real work in this area for a change...

There has been some media coverage within the last week of a murder case that was solved using DNA that was 50+ years old.

Really! Permafrost-preserved teeth, up to 1.6 million years old, identified a new kind of mammoth in Siberia. The million-year-old genome is there. Mammoth teeth preserved in eastern Siberian permafrost have produced the oldest ancient DNA on record, pushing the technology close to — but perhaps not past — its limits. What that has to do with Cooper and Tina I do not know!

Which files in the vault are you having problems with.

Most of them. For example the third section that starts with “These are direct links to the files”.  None of those work.

In the last section with all the FBI icons, some work and some don’t. 

Also, the only way I can get there is by googling “db cooper vault” and using that link. 
I don’t see any link on this site to take me there.

Ok, let me ask this. are you signed into Google when you are surfing the net? the files are stored on Google drive and probably need you to be signed in to access the files. I have no trouble viewing them on computers or phones as long as I'm signed into the browser (Chrome) that I use..

Yes I’m signed into Google.  The error says I need permission, and there’s a button to request permission.  I’ve clicked that for at least 6 different files…

I don't know what else can be done..once I put a file in the vault I have two options, one, make it private and the other is "Anyone on the internet with this link can view"

All the files have the option for everyone to view..let me see what the server has to say about the problem..

I’m using Chrome on an iPhone.

I’ll try my Windows 11 laptop.

A limnologist I spoke with today says, TK has misidentified photo 3B in his paper. The diatom in question is Tabellaria, not asterionella or fragilaria. Tabellaria blooms from Spring to summer.
