This is great stuff, and will prove invaluable to the case, snowman. You should feel accomplished and appreciated. Well done.

i was thinking of incentivizing people to try to find an error in serials.csv that doesn't match the visual fbi files, that isn't covered by the list of what I changed (fbi errors changed), by offering to mail a Cooper twenty to them, if I agree they found an error.

see attached. Doesn't everyone have a stash of Cooper money here?

I mean I thought it was like in '77 when I told dudeman about the plane that crashed in Yosemite and we all went up there and gathered what bales we could

I mean, me and dudeman didn't take all the bills off Cooper's body back in '72...we left some for you guys too.

(if you examine the attached bills.jpg  file properties, you'll notice it was taken with a Huawei phone, confirming that I'm hiding out in China. As we all know, the Senate has come down strong against Huawei, and so that verifies my location as not-USA)

ps. snowmman is spelled with two m's !!

I just think people should get away from pushing speculative theories based on what they perceive as higher probability

Huh? Theories are based in speculation, which is based on probabilities/possibilities. In a case with so few known facts, you need speculation to get anywhere. You do a fair amount of speculating yourself. I mean...

Keep a theory in, unless it's definitely ruled out.

Double Huh??  Am I having a senior moment and forgetting something? Are you one of the climbers who appeared in Sunshine Superman? Spent time in Mammoth in the winters of '78 and '79?

nah, '77-'79 just slightly before my time (still in college). But I love that story..heard many details/variations of it over the year (chainsaws for cutting into ice etc). Rumor of finding a black book of phone numbers on a body in the plane before LE/rangers got there.

A LOT more detail of the story and pictures here..good read.

The details all ring true. Clevenger et al in the story are real.

Spent the winter dirtbagging in Joshua Tree in '82 though, which was it's own crazy thing.
You know the story about Barker Dam and the map where Cooper Loot was supposed to be in Joshua Tree? That's a crazy coincidence. A map of Barker Dam area etc and the story is in the fbi files.

There was a dude there that winter who died later in a climbing accident. FBI came knocking eventually at another friend's door looking for him..turned out he apparently murdered a partner and dumped him in a shallow grave! Whew! crazy times.

I didn't know about it then, but I remember getting a ticket from the rangers on Christmas Day for burning wood we gathered from Barker Dam area, and the stories going around the campfire about the craziest Christmas Day anyone had, as we passed the bottle of rotgut...and then we kind of stopped at Crazy Bob, when he said "well I spent Christmas Day in jail once"

Would have been funny if there were rumors about Cooper loot at Barker Dam then...we would have been digging the place up!

fair enough. Sometime though, people get detailed enough so that they forget the long chain of speculative dependencies.

Okay. You had me going for a second there, because I did know a climber who was one of the people going up to that airplane. And he appeared in one of those movies, I forget which. Crazy stories, indeed.

---------

The problem is when people morph from 'possible/probable speculative theory' to 'I'm going with that as fact'.

sometimes, when the rotgut bottle starts to go dry, it's time to make the stories larger and more  imaginative, just to keep the campfire circle going :)

Aphasia is a disorder that results from damage to areas of the brain that produce and process language. A person with aphasia can have trouble speaking, reading, writing, and understanding language. Impairment in these abilities can range from mild to very severe (nearly impossible to communicate in any form). Aphasia affects a person's ability to correctly parse and comprehend written language. Aphasia can have a very strong emotional component marked by arguing, denial, and paranoia.

example:
MSPO   R
305 NAME OF AN UNKNOWN  ABT SIX FEET 1 INCH HIGH
BLACK HAIR    ARXXX    AGE ABT 50    WHGT  175 LBS
BRDD AT PDX
. . .

Flyjack: Oops, how did everyone miss this clue for 50 years, seems to be very important.
Cooper.. 1 inch high black hair...  that doesn't fit most suspects... (and adds an inch of height as well)

R99 reply >: That 1 inch applies to his height.  Cooper was 6 feet and 1 inch (or 73 inches) tall.  His hair color was black.

Silly boy, ya self-destroyer
Paranoia, the destroyer
Self-destroyer, wreck your health
Destroy your friends, destroy yourself
The time device of self-destruction
Light the fuse and start eruption

I have asked this before and didn't get a response.

When I use the search function here, it only gives me 1 page of results. Even if it is a commonly used Cooper word such as "dredge", I only get about 8 results. Is there a way to search here to get a complete set of results?

Thank you.

Georger, what are you trying to say here?  How bad is your aphasia problem?
