Eric had Covid as well. I don't remember if he said anything about fighting it. perhaps he can jump in and give Parrot some advice. I always take a healthy dose of vitamins no matter the cause. other than becoming a recluse I don't know if any magic guideline can be placed.
I see lots of faults such as using gloves with customers and not changing them out. it will transfer just the same as without. I wash my cloth mask in the sink everyday but not everytime I leave the house. a lot of people hang them on the mirror in there cars. clothing can become infected. probably a thousand ways to get it without knowing. no different than the common flu IMO. I see a lot of people, especially the younger generation greeting each other in crowds with hugs and the nose sticking out of the mask more often than anything. the government can only help to a certain degree. as for the vaccine. local governments should of been preparing months ago so you wouldn't read things like Bruce has written. this happens a lot after a hurricane with confusion. most are too busy pointing fingers.
I'm out in the public a lot. not as much as I've been in the past due to work slowing down. even when I went to Tampa I bought a trailer vs a hotel to try and keep the guys somewhat safe. we brought food to avoid the stores as much as possible. it could be as simple as using an ATM or the keypad at the grocery store to contract the virus. I wipe them down. hundreds are using them and I never see them wiping them down. currency can spread the virus. imagine if payphones were all over the place like they use to be..gloves shouldn't even be used IMO. they don't change them between transactions that gives a false sense of security.
Hopefully, the vaccine will become available sooner than projected. I have my doubts but one can only hope.
My experience with Covid wasn't too bad. Basically I felt fatigued and had some odd pain in my lower-middle back area. Symptoms lasted about 10 days.
The first few days were quite mild and I was improving each day, then I experienced a set back that made my symptoms more moderate in nature.
I was careful to make certain I got plenty of rest and fluids...even after I felt quite normal for a few days...because I had heard the stories of people feeling well then being dead a week later.
As far as my profile is concerned, I'm 54 y/o, with no underlying conditions and of a normal weight given my height. I also handle stress well--sort of have a "who gives a shit attitude"--which enabled me to not be concerned about it in the least, which I think helps.
By the way, for my 55th birthday coming up in a little over a week, my daughter is taking me skydiving. This will be my first time. Obviously it will be tandem. That said, I have 377's Cooper twenty and plan on jumping with it on my person. Therefore, I'll be able to brag that this particular bill has only dropped from an airplane twice, once with me, the other with DBC.
