Another suggestion for CC 2020 is Dorwin Schreuder. He old, but not frail, at least when I last spoke with him a couple of years ago.

Doriwn is busy -   :offtopicman:   No longer available to DB Cooper Yakety Yak wacjoes.

That's strange that he'd be busy.  He wasn't busy when you claim to have spoken with him just two months ago to the day:

Spent time talking to Dorwin and several others today - will report as time permits. Subjects covered:

Law enforcement coverage of the following:
Heisson store robbery, searches in Heisson area and related matters.
Disposition of the Heisson Store robbery.
Searches of rail lines leading south from Amboy area to Vancouver, and RR bridge at Vancouver-Portland (yes searches and investigations plural were conducted for up to a week after the hijacking!)
Searches of and communication links set up with area hobo train-hopper camps and personalities/informants in the Vancouver-Portland area
related matters ...

Very strange.

Its Memorial Day!  Nothing strange about it except to people who live in caves .. Lots of people are BUSY!   IF THATS OK WITH YOU  ....

Someone doesn't seem to want anyone contacting Agent Schroeder.  Why don't you call him for us and report back that he agrees with you on everything? ... Again.

Unsurelock - stop! another complaint filed against you tonight ...

I already said its Memorial Day and he's busy. I talked to his wife yesterday. Call himself yourself, big shot! I will send him an email right now telling him you are harassing me here and you need to talk to him for some reason ... so he will know when he wakes up tomorrow to expect your call, or Bruce's call? Ok? Satisfied, big shot?  Have you caused enough people trouble tonight or is there going to be more . . . ? I can call Shutter right now if you like ... Its your call.

What's your emergency with "Someone doesn't seem to want anyone contacting Agent Schroeder" ?   WTF are you even talking about? Unsure Lock ?   :conspiracy:

Good. I'm glad you agree that others can call whomever they want.

What is this complaint about this time?

Please explain the need to email a retired FBI agent to tell them someone might call them, especially when nobody might call them.

Re-read everything above. Who was suggesting a phone call to whom again?

Again, stay the hell out of it. Nobody is asking you.

To all of you that served, and had the balls to do what I did not, Thank You!

We all serve our country in different ways, Parrot. Not only did I try to stop the Vietnam War by protesting, and endured facing US soldiers pointing their weapons at me, but I worked two years at my local VA hospital in the psych ward. I treated guys who may have had balls, but didn't have sufficient mental and emotional preparation to go into combat.

Got a new friend today

I was truly stunned today to get a Facebook friend request from Larry Carr. Of course, I confirmed the friend request, and boy, I was doubly surprised to see a lot of guys I already knew in the friend collection - Tom Kaye, Darren, and others. Whew.

But not Marla. Hmmmm....

So, Larry is married to Terri, and has two daughters. He lives in Snoqualmie, WA, and that's it. No Coop, no FBI juicy stuff, no gossip. No facts. No commentary. I couldn't even find if he works for the FBI. Sigh....

My connection with DB Cooper is to be put on hold indefinitely for the time being. I'm pretty open with private things in my life so my reasons are valid here. my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. it's a very progressive cancer that comes out of nowhere..the doctors say this type is shrinkable with chemo. my fear is how much my mom can take at her age.

My priorities come first before DB Cooper. I haven't even seen any real discussion here in some time now. I will keep the site open but my visits will fade over time pending the status of my mother. my mother means the world to me and she is all I have to cherish in this fucked up world we live in. I lost my father some years back and my wife almost a decade ago. life is a lot shorter than one tend to believe. cancer is a horrible thing to go through and I have had plenty of it over the years. to much of it!

The sad thing is taking her to the hospital and not being allowed to follow due to the virus issue's. people are dying alone because you can't enter hospitals.

All the best to you and your mom, Dave.

My mom turns 96 this week, and I haven't seen her in a year due to my health issues and then Covid. I shudder to think of what happens to me and my itsy-bitsy family - it's just me a and my sister - when mom finally goes. So, I can relate a bit to what you might be feeling.

Don't worry about us here in Cooper World. We'll keep on rollin' along....

Damn Dave, that really sucks. December will be 5 years that my mother has been gone. The last few years were so filled with her dementia that we really lost her some time before she passed. I hope the best for your mother. I will say a prayer for her healing and her strength for the treatment.

Maybe Larry is up for a few questions about the Cooper case from the uncelebrated general public?  ???  ::)

Who knows, G? Why don't you ask him. I would myself, but I'd like to be friends with him for more than just a week, if you catch my drift....

Actually I dont catch your drift . . . never did. In the meantime there is new evidence in the Cooper case, presented by three well established USGS hydrologists that strongly dispute the Kaye distance interpretation. They present a solid model based on data ... and they dont quite understand why the reports given to the FBI back in 1980 excluded basic well known facts of flow and erosion movement in the lower Columbia which were very well understood at the time. They dont understand why the Washougal (of all places!) was given the emphasis it was given back in 1980, while other more relevant facts of hydrology were strangely ignored completely back in 1980.

Mr. Brown, I join the others in sending my thoughts and prayers for you and your mom. Some years ago my life went on hold when my parents got old and needed help as they aged out and passed away. It set me back somewhat, but it brings a lot of peace knowing I was there for them when they needed it. It's got to be frustrating not being able to be in the hospital with her. If it gets to the unfortunate worst, I would suggest bringing her home on hospice if that's possible. I pray the best for you both.
