New Vortex SpottedFrom time to time we Cooperites delve into related mysteries, such as the Amelia Earhart disappearance. Now, a new one is gathering steam - the death of UN General Secretary Dag Hammarskjold in September 1961.
Hulu is playing a fascinating and strange documentary of two guys searching for answers into the circumstances surrounding Hammarskjold's death. He perished in a plane crash at night in central Africa, near the border between the rebellious Katanga Province of the Congo and nearby British Uganda. Besides Hammarskjold, sixteen members of his policy and admin team, plus his security cadre, died with him.
The Hulu broadcast is titled:
Cold Case Hammarskjold. Not only do I recommend it, the iconic Roger Ebert website does as well, giving it 4.5 stars out of 5.
Further, the UN General Assembly voted last Friday to extend its investigation into Hammarskjold's death despite the fact that Sweden, the UK, the United States, and other western countries have repeated refused to comply with UN requests for information or to assist in the UN's investigation in any manner. One element in the Hammarskjold case that the Hulu investigators derive great benefit, is the testimony of a South African special ops guy who spills the beans on his mercenary outfit that was supposedly hired to kill Hammarskjold to protect corporate and political interests dear to western countries. The last 25% of the docu features his testimony and it is riveting.
Now we need to find our guy in Norjak. When are the principals gonna start talking to us???
