Georger, I think you have missed the point on what I'm pissed about.
It's not about what you think of my writing. I know you don't like my journalism.
What I am pissed about is that you infer that I steal information and make a buck on it. That is simply not true. On this point I am still waiting for an apology.
Can you reed!?
That is not what I said!
Have you read my reply posted above a day ago?
What I said was, quote: "Much of the material Ive been able to read on EU's site is stuff he gleaned from other sites and people including this site. Now he's charging others for it? Smith is likewise guilty. Maybe I will publish my algebra notes from Miss Britch's class and charge $9.99 per page? "
I did not say what you are claiming I said. I did not say: " you infer that I steal information and make a buck on it. "
I am not responsible for your inability to read English and leap to conclusions.
Go pester someone else with your psycho-babel.
My point was and is - this started with EU not with Bruce Smith!:We all have inherited material and discussions from a loot of people over a very long period of time. Many of EU's points about Sheridan have been stated by others many times over the years, notably Sailshaw. There is a "common corpus" of information in the DB Cooper case. After a while arguments tend to be repeated over and over again. Should somebody ask anybody else to pay for that?, Its rather like somebody asking people to pay for the phone book!
THAT IS WHAT I WAS SAYING! I DIDNT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT PEOPLE STEALING, SMITH. YOU BROUGHT THAT UP! I didnt say Ulis was stealing. I didnt say you were stealing. I said 'there is a common library of knowledge in the Cooper case and should anyone be asking others to pay for that?'
What I said is true. And the question I posed is reasonable.
What if Tom Kaye charged for reading his page? What if the FBI charged for reading its 302's? What if Shutter charged $9.99 a pop for every time somebody comes here? I didnt say one word about people stealing. So stop trying to put words and thoughts in my mouth, Smith! One of my concerns is creeping commercialism into every walk of life. A free internet has been vital to our whole discussion of the DB Cooper case.
Now you apologize?
