My take on it is that maybe it was fun and games back in 2003 and 2007, but that as old age has taken its toll, and his mind is not as sharp as before, that paranoia is real, and triggers bad health effects. Even though he can sound healthy in email, its really just an old man struggling with both physical and mental weakness.

I am constantly accused of bad things. I do take solace in thinking that my past posts were open minded and apparently didn't cause pain.
How interesting it would be if Sheridan had, but purposely did not disclose, exculpatory passport evidence in order to enjoy the aura of being a DBC suspect. As he ages, it is no longer fun and he wants the game to stop.
I am sure I've caused Sheridan angst with DBC stuff, but I've also helped him avoid imminent eviction by playing the pro bono lawyer card so hopefully things balance out. EU, by the way, also went to bat for Sheridan when I was away at sea and helped a
LOT in keeping him housed. EU showed care and compassion in that effort.
EU would stop in a minute if he were shown clear and convincing evidence of Sheridan's innocence. I'd bet on it. Unless and until that happens I don't expect much to change.
