There's something interesting here.

Attached is the snip from the original PCGS picture for L38138140A 1969

look at the serial on the right side (the part that's missing on ebay)
there seems to be another serial number that doesn't match L38138140A

it looks like it ends in 59A

when I zoom in, it seems like it's another bill that was stuck there, that they didn't peel off properly?

Maybe PCGS screwed up originally?

Yup, there is part of another bill stuck there..

L34047759A was a TBAR bill

That 59A ending may really belong instead to these fragments of L34047759A ??

ebay seller with an attitude is also selling a big silver tiger thing..same attitude in the posting for that. Hard to believe he got the Cooper bill as a "retirement gift"...seems like an untruth.

This a Silver Tiger I purchased in Puerto Vallarta, MX in 2015. I bought this in a high end showroom that belonged to a family that owned a Silver mine. Silver in the Puerto Vallarta area is known for it's high quality. This is a rare piece...very hard to find. It weighs 44 lbs and is .999 silver. The tag on the back has 3 lines. Todo En Plata (all is silver) Hecho in Mexico (made in Mexico) CH Plata .999. (I think the CH is the state of Chihuahua and the Plata is silver and the .999 is the purity of the silver. This is a beautiful piece. The spot price of silver as of this listing (11/24/18) is 14.36 per ounce. 44 lbs is 704 ounces. You do the math. Look at my feedback. 17 years on eBay..I have never cheated anyone in my life. Anyway, don't think you are the smartest person in the room and you are going to steal this from me. You won't. I would prefer a local pickup but I will have it crated and shipped for $50. This piece is gorgeous I don't want to sell it but I have to. Best of luck.

His attitude needs an adjustment Snow. Can you take care of it?

I am beginning to think my Cooper twenty with a fully intact SN is one of the better examples pulled from T Bar. I know there are bigger and better ones but I am pretty happy with mine. If TK and team solve the case with a snipped portion of mine it will become the queen of the T Bar twenties.

I told Sheridan that a crisp Cooper twenty would be worth an easy 50K if it was the first one publicized, but he didn't bite. No pupil dilation observed.  ;)

Can you imagine the book deal that could be negotiated if the author showed up with a genuine crisp Cooper twenty? Some con artists got pretty far with a fake photocopy of a crisp Cooper twenty. They conned some news magazine editor as I recall.

When you bought your bill - auctioned by Tom Kaye you might remember, and offered for sale by Brian Ingram directly at the 2011 Conference - Brian said that it was one of the largest bills still remaining in his possession. I recall him saying further that the majority of bills that he had received were seriously eroded, in the 50-60 percent range from the original size.

I also remember seeing a catalogue of DB C bills from the auction house, (Heritage?), and many of them were pretty small, similar to what this guy with attitude is selling.

you can click on the links I posted in the thread, to see all the individual bills ha.com has been involved with
31 or 32 I believe with serial numbers
46 I think altogether.
So yeah, they sold around 15 without serial numbers.

oh here's the cover letter, outlining the murder for hire and lying-in-wait claims a bit

If these two were actually putting on a show and together selling the whole Rackstraw as Cooper story, a ridiculous display like this would stop people from asking "why doesn't he sue?" Answer: "Oh, he already did, but he's nuts. So much for that."

The DB Cooper Corned Beef College To Meet in NYC

Despite Georger's rumors, the only real DB Cooper College that I know of is the Corned Beef Colloquium of Cooperites. We will be meeting at the 2nd Ave Deli in Manhattan, either shortly before Christmas or after the 1st of the Year. Best pastrami in the Big Apple, Dice says, so I say we head there. Email me for details, or call me in New York, where I am heading Dec. 13 for an extended stay. Email me this week in WA to make sure you get the NY number. It's a landline. I will also have my cell phone, but reception in the family home on LI is lousy.

Shut has given me a tablet to stay in touch with y'all by email, in an effort to prevent a repeat of certain recent events that were slightly unpleasant... re: last summer and the unexpected visits by the Pierce County Sheriff's Department AND certain folks from Cooper World... But I gotta learn how to use it, get Internet connections, and such.

Brian, Dovid, and all other dwellers of the Vortex in the NY-NJ-CT sector are welcome. I'm voting for a late lunch. 3 pm? Maybe the New England contingent will be there, too!

The gossip will be great, and I promise to name names! Plus details from the Conference in Portland, etc.

Geoeger's rumors? You thought it up and printed it from your cell! I and others merely live on Earth and read it in the newspaper! You run Earth!  The Vortex Cult is yours. I live in the real world. The drama is all yours, as usual!

The DB Cooper Corned Beef College To Meet in NYC  ?

Maybe you can take Cooper to Broadway soon.  :congrats:

Unseen Manson tapes were shown on Nat Geo tonight detailing the calamity of the late 60s and early seventies. Was the Cooper hijacking part of this cultural cult expression? He said: "I have a grudge".

Maybe the Bruce Smith Cooper College can tell us?  Helter Skelter avoided in the Skies in 1971.

As you know, Georger, at the quantum level everything is connected fundamentally.

However local perturbations do occur. Prior to Charlie and the girls doing their thing, the term Helter Skelter was in fairly common parlance. Afterwards, not so much. I blame Charlie for that.

Normally I woudn't give a shit about stuff like this.
And I don't want to get into too much detail.

But I would like to make a little entreaty here to people, to avoid Eric Ullis like the plaque. Any support he gets, seems to get him to feel justified about acting like a motherfucker.

He's really gone over the line and is harassing Sheridan's daughter who has her own mental health issues. and Sheridan who is truly old and sick.

It's really sad to see this going on and hearing the effect it has on people.

Sheridan is not Cooper. His visa stamps clearly indicate he didn't leave Nepal during the time in question.

Eric is causing harm to other people. The recent podcast thing just made me sick...two "adults" talking slow and trying to sound deep and meaningful, while one of them was causing pain to other human beings.

I know I speculated about Sheridan in the past. But I don't think I ever caused anyone pain like EU does. And now I can see I was wrong.

Somehow EU has to be made to back off. He's a real fucking asshole. Worse than Blevins. Really.
