I'm letting this play out. I notified my "Gene Bland" that he needs to respond to my emails or post at the MN and explain these discrepancies. Posting falsehoods is verboten, and any further posts without a sufficient explanation is grounds for scrubbing.

Clearly, the real hijacker is impersonating Gene on TMN to throw everybody off...

It's very interesting. I have always thought that McCoy could be Cooper. There are a lot of similarities in his case and Cooper's. I am not looking to get into a debate about Cooper being McCoy, but it does make me wonder if witnesses have seen Cooper and didn't recognise him. Cooper could have had makeup on or something to alter his appearance.

I read the files...in totality they all agreed McCoy wasn't Cooper..it's really hard to fight multiple witnesses..

Cooper only had one note and translated his demands through the stews...less evidence
McCoy had notes ready to go..left one behind (busted rookie move)
Cooper had a bomb..
McCoy had a gun and a grenade.
Cooper bailed at 10,000
McCoy was much higher (don't recall altitude)       
Cooper said fly south to Mexico city no plan
McCoy flew the plane from the back giving directions, asking for constant updates..
Cooper had darker skin tone
McCoy much lighter...

McCoy couldn't keep his mouth shut and was caught in a short period of time...Cooper told nobody (if he made it)
the most damaging is McCoy's ears, and the color of his eye's..

It's hard to believe that 3 women couldn't see makeup visible on Cooper while some who were not there believe he did?

several years back I also thought he could be Cooper but looking more at the evidence and the differences in them I changed my mind and sided with the witnesses and the FBI...

2. Why was he in Las Vegas on November 22, 1971.
3. Why did he call his family collect on T-Day night at 10 pm from Las Vegas.
4. Why was he in Las Vegas in early November for an over-nighter.
5. Where did he get the money to buy 6K worth of airplane tix to take his whole family back to NC in December?
6. Why did Seattle refute Calame's claims of evidence.
7. Where is Calame's evidence?

All gambling? All Sin City related? Or something else. Calame is bs-ing? A SAC, really?

where do you see him in Vegas on the 22nd? records state 2nd & 3rd of November

why would he show up in Reno days before the hijacking knowing he would be there on the 24th..you really wouldn't want to do that. the records indicate a party...did he give someone his credit card, and that person called collect? it doesn't state McCoy made the collect call...also,for some reason states "possibly a collect call"

Cooper never planned on Reno, so why is this so important...other cities were in the mix as well...

sometimes one trips over there own thoughts....most agreed if McCoy was Cooper he did the second hijacking due to losing the money...I believe McCoy even stated this..

so, he hijacks the plane in November...flies to Vegas, several times, launders the money, buys 6k in airplane tickets shows no other real investments, but feels the need to do it again for 500k...shoots his mouth off the second time and gets caught, but is tight lipped during the Cooper caper?

He wore makeup even though the witnesses state differently..the makeup was so good they didn't realize they were looking at Cooper while viewing McCoy's pics, even though McCoy looks like the sketch which they believe is what ....Cooper looks like, but end up saying he's not Cooper....but really he was....got it lol
