Sluggo stopped by the Mountain News today. Says he's disappointed that we haven't found anything new.

I suggested that his comment doesn't fully appreciate the recent findings of 100K particles on the tie, nor the KATU video, which I believes puts any plant theory to rest.

But then, the "Sluggo" poster may be an imposter. But the corresponding email looked legit.

I have serious doubts it's him...lots of fake users..is he like all the witnesses in the hijacking by totally missing all the known suspects? how could he miss so many recent shows? lots of one hit wonders there...one dominates the thread slinging false accusations left and right, wonder who that could be?

couldnt find the alleged post by Sluggo - the rest is chest-beating crap. Things never change.  There is no value in your socalled forum. For one thing your forum is a pack of liars. Have fun at your own expense!

The whole thing is shocking and sadly I'm involved in it..I was wrongfully accused multiple times by Robert. I'm not talking about the typical trash talk, but accusations that I conspired with a member who was banned from here in order to gain access to his forum, and try and stop production of the film about Kenny. I don't even know who the producers are..he goes on to make claims that I'm trying to shut his website down as well. a majority of the thread involves him making these comments..

Now, Nicky has come forward claiming it was a joke and Robert ran with it...Nicky sounds a lot more convincing at this point..I also made the mistake of claiming Nicky was sending nasty messages..I mixed him up with Derek in which I quickly apologized for..this backed his statements up further about telling the truth vs what Robert has claimed multiple times..

Yes, the ol' email exploded with those. Had to keep digging the Mountain News out of junk mail because of all the comments. It was a bit weird, especially the dialogues between the ppl claiming to be Marla and Robert Blahblah. I don't know who Derek and Nicky are (per sluggo's comment) but it was starting to sound like some of the old DZ threads. That won't stop me from reading the TMN main posts, though, as it's been invaluable in keeping track of all the threads in this case. It would be nice if Sluggo were back, his site has also been very useful. It's just a pitfall of the Internet age to have trolls and loonies on threads. They are the false confessors and anonymous shit-disturbers of the modern age. If the Cooper jump had happened yesterday, those 900+ confessions would be 100,000, and the bitter/star-struck exes and family members claiming to know who it was would be a million.

I am all for anonymity, but not for fraudulently posing as another. Blockchain technology could put an end to online posers.

Speaking of Blockchain, imagine Cooper 2018. Gets Bitcoin wirelessly transferred to his crypto wallet and jumps. No bag, No T Bar find. 

Some early Bitcoin crime is so lame. Friends have received death threats online that can be "canceled" upon transfer of a few thousand bucks worth of Bitcoin. The perps have apparently gained access to hacked Equifax or similar data as they know your SS number, home address, spouse, place of employment, etc which makes the threat a bit intimidating.
