Well, Tom Colbert just contacted me to give some news regarding the strap found where Cooper allegedly buried the chute & some cash. they are accepting the evidence and it's presently on it's way to DC....

So, since the dredging in Vancouver Lake was done after money had already been found on Tina Bar in Feb 1980, that part of TC's money theory is impossible. His claim is proven wrong.

Tom;s claim is the material was dumped and spread on Tina Bar, which he says explains Schreuder's thousands of fragments. Later, he says, the Ingrams planted the Ingram bundles in a second event.

Tom's facts and dates are simply wrong.

Youw ould think a celestial news mogul with important connexions would check the basic facts better, before proclaiming THE WORLD IS FLAT!

The Truth is: Tom Colbert doesn't have the faintest idea how Cooper money got to Tina Bar - period.

Neither does he have the faintest idea who or how the socalled Cooper Letters were written and sent ...

... he will never admit it.

Weather Update from Cooper Country

We just set a new record for NO rain. 52 straight days.

This offsets our record this winter of only three days without ANY rain - and  coupled with FULL sunshine - over 111 straight days, beginning in November, I believe.

However, our sun streak was marred by unhealthy levels of smoke from forest fires - 11 straight days. Winds from the south are finally pushing that stuff out of the area this evening. I am finally walking around outside without my N-95 mask on, even though the pollution levels are 88 on a scale of 0-500. 0-50 is deemed healthy. I prefer single digits, though.

That's even better. So according to Colbert, Schreuder's thousands of frags at three feet were deposited THREE YEARS after the Ingram find in Feb 1980, which means:  Colberts' whole story is off by three years!

Wally's story must be off by there years!  Or, it never happened at all ?

Be sure and tell Fox News and POTUS.

Also rumored/alleged by Colbert etal, is that a 'parachute strap' and 'money' have been found at a recently discovered DB Cooper landing site, somewhere near LaCenter, WA. 

So far none of these claims have been substantiated.

We have already proven that Mr. Colbert's two-part money find theory is off by three years!  So that piece of nonsense is now dispensed with. Wally has a major problem with his story board!

Of further note is the liberal use of Geoff Gray aka 'Racehorse Gray', quotes and references throughout Mr. Colbert's whole: "Prolegomena to Any Future DB Cooper Metaphysics", which has never been recognised as a viable scholarly work by the Nobel Committee on FBI Excesses or the National Enquirer, either! Without a doubt Mr. Colbert has demonstrated humongous ability to spread things thick in the National Media, rivaled only by RobertMBlevins at Worldwide AB Books of Seattle in his tour de force Kenneth Christiansen debacle, now seven years old and putrefying.

So to both DB Cooper "dudes" I say: show us the money. Show us some real evidence for a change.

But all is not lost! Two burger meals with fries and Coke are still available at Burger King for only $3.49! And that beats anything you dudes have shown us to date, in the DB Cooper Maldum Fornax.

Good luck, DB Cooper dudes! Maybe try for a better two-burger meal instead?

Colbert just sent me an email announced his ire at my post above, and to inform me that I am now persona non grata (his words) in Colbert World.

I guess that means I'm not getting a Christmas Card from Tom and Dawna this year, either. Sigh.

Not to worry, Shut. I ain't gonna go wacko over TJC and my not getting a Christmas Card. Besides, Derek Godsey has already emailed me with an invitation to join his Cold Case Team with RMB!

But there is real news to share on the subject of Tom's pronouncements that cast serious doubts on the veracity of his story.

To begin. I am having trouble finding Russ and Kristy Cooper, who are the alleged sources of his DB Cooper Getaway story via their source, a pilot named "Wally." In Colbert's report, Russ is identified as the former VP of the Northwest Antique Airplane Club. Today, I spoke with two members of the club and neither knows Russ, nor have they heard of him or the DB Cooper Getaway story. That is hard to believe - a cool Cooper story that fails to circulate around a bunch of Vancouver-based pilots??? No Way!

One aviator I spoke with was Paul Silveria, the president of the NWAAC, and he has been a member of the club since the 1980s. For him not to know Russ Cooper is serious.

Specifically, Russ says that his knowledge of the DBC Getaway comes from a "Wally," a prominent local pilot from the Vancouver, WA area. Russ' story also mentions an Evergreen Airpark in Vancouver. A Wally Olson was the founder of the Evergreen Airpark in 1946, and was the founder also of the NWAAC. Silveria laughed out loud when I told him that Wally Olson is the source of this story and might have been one of DB Cooper's accomplices.

"I'm extremely skeptical," Silveria told me, dead-panned.

So now I'm contacting the Multnomah County Sheriff's Department to see if I can get in touch with Kristy Cooper, Russ' wife. She is allegedly a former staff member of that agency.
