"qualified profiler"

I'm skeptical. Often these are like repackaged psychics with a psychology degree thrown in.

But don't let this spoilsport engineer spoil a productive seance.  ;)

There have certainly been enough "unproductive séances" in the Cooper matter. ::)

R99, I dont mean to be negative about profiling Cooper; its just that any profile anyone comes up with is going to be challenged. Colbert already had his professionals profile Cooper. Anyone who proposes a suspect is profiling Cooper. Jo proposed her profile for Cooper, Blebins proposed his, Sailshaw his, and so on. Gray proposed a new profile based on a new physical description?

Recently people have been trying to predict facial and physical features based on genetic information. Maybe the FBI can reverse that and predict genetic data from their physical description?

 :)

I was just wishing that someone along the lines of John Douglas, who was a pioneer in setting up the FBI's profiler program and who is now retired from the FBI but still involved in profiling, would take a look at Cooper.

Douglas has genuine qualifications as well as a highly successful track record in profiling.  I think his opinion would be accepted by a majority of people.

Blevins and Jo as profilers?  Please! :))  Sailshaw would probably retire from profiling if he ever recovers the rent money that Peterson stiffed him on. ;D

I've been so busy the last couple weeks that I forgotten to post a few things..Tom Colbert sent me this to post..

I talked to Ralph H., I think, for the very last time a month ago. He's now living in backyard of a daughter's house, truly is in his "happy" years at 92...had very little recall on simple, non-controversial things. Don't think he was playing me (wife interrupted a couple of times when he stumbled).

But what do I know.

*Meantime, here's the answer to where your Letter #2 has been, Galen, all this time...with the FBI (attached)! Truth came out in latest FBI doc dump, my team had to review it first.

So the Feds held onto 1, 2 and 4, apparently for writing samples and, in the 90's, possibly recovered DNA?. If so, too bad they won't compare my guy's DNA (gathered by surveillance team in 2013). Rackstraw lived within 50 miles of the #1 and #4 mailing points, for year and a half after the jump.

Speaking of busting asses, my team will be getting their kicks in very, very soon.

Shutter, please forward this FBI page to the Forum gang.

All the best, GC.

Also, Galen Cook sent a message in regards to Bruce Smith....hope you feel better soon Bruce...

Dave:

Just received a post card from Bruce.  He informs me that he has been fighting off a bad case of pnuemonia during his stay on the East Coast.  He wishes everyone well, and is slowly recovering.  He will return to Cooper Forum soon, but for now he can't even receive his e-mails.
Best,
Galen

"Just received a post card from Bruce."

What's a postcard? 😉

Hope Bruce pulls through this soon. He's sure had more than his share of serious health setbacks.

Thanks 377, it's amazing what you have to go through. even to register the drone. you no longer have to with non-commercial drones, it was ruled illegal?

the exam had everything on it...regulations, radio communications, airspace, sectional charts, weather, load and performance, airport operations, runway markers, emergency procedures, Physiology, Aeronautical Decision-Making (ADM), with dozens of sub pages...3 practice exams, then 3 final exams...

Physiology?  You've got to be kidding! :))

Shutter, I PM'd you a while back about someone operating a drone just down the street from my house.  That drone and I spent some time just looking at each other from about 200 feet apart, with it being about 50 feet above the street.  But I never saw its operator.

It turns out that there is now a commercial drone operation here and it advertises its services to a number of businesses, including real estate brokers.  The drone I saw was apparently making exterior photographs of a house a few doors down that is now for sale.

After all the hoops you had to jump through to get a commercial drone license, you need to make all the cash you can with it. :)  Good luck!

Shutter,

With all that testing and studying have you considered going on to a pilots license?

And then a 727 type rating?  ;)

Bet you could fly one successfully right now with all your sim experience.

We have dozens of contractors under our belt. some have already inquired about the service. several of these contractors also sell the properties they build, so I get my foot in the door with Real Estate photography as well. I lost an offer several weeks ago, a friend of mine who has a small window business is married to a model, she does commercials, and movie parts as well. one of the production companies just fired a drone company due to no licence. I missed out on that deal, but now have connections at the least to the inside.

I guess time will tell if it becomes profitable..... :chr2:

I've thought about it, but doubt I will go any further....727 rating, don't see tha in the future either..maybe the crew will become ill and I can take over the controls one day...."Airport2017" The Shutter Incident
