Thanks Mark, I have always liked Jo, but when she gets upset it puts everything into a uncontrolled dive! if what Bruce said is true, she doesn't want to get involved with forums anyway. I could let everything go, except what she said about Vicki. that was way out of line. the murder thingy, it's bad, but it's so ridiculous that nobody believes that for a second.

We all know Bruce was with a friend in a Airstream camping that day  ;D :D :o

I don't have a problem with Jo posting though I see Mark's point about where it will lead... ..to be honest I usually just kind of skim her stuff and basically ignore it because it is just so disjointed. I've asked her so many times to try to catalogue her stuff and quit trying to  force a Duane relationship with every new person or theory that comes along, but Jo's made her road and that's the one she wants to travel.

Sounds like she's decided she doesn't want to be on here anyway, but if she did request it and you wanted a compromise between the yays and the nays, maybe you could give her a Duane thread and restrict her to it -- she could post to her heart's content and no one has to go there if they choose not to. Just a suggestion..

On the other hand, if she doesn't let you know she wants to visit, then I probably wouldn't leave the porch light on.
Or to paraphrase dear ol dad, let the sleeping Jo lie.  ;D

Thanks 99, I offered Jo a spot when the trouble first started a year ago. I'm not so sure now. it's a very tough decision to think about dealing with this issue. I guess time will tell us how she will react to the nightly routine that is now gone.

So, basically, I have not changed my mind on the current status.....that's my feelings about it at this moment in time...

As one of Jo's involuntary victims ... who she says killed JFK (when I was seventeen in a rural school in Ioway!) -
I have mixed feelings about this, to put it mildly. I might be forced to finally complain to Law Enforcement and my phone provider to have all of her phone stalking stopped!  I am not in favor of empowering stalkers and trolls who have a personality disorder and think they own everyone else on the planet! :-\ :-*

I will leave if Jo Weber comes here. Period.

DZ Refugee Update

Since it has come to my attention that not everyone sees reality the same way I do, I thought Bobby's request might find some resonance somewhere in Cooper World, and I wouldn't want any inaction on my part to be the cause of someone else's disenchantment.

So, the guy plasters all kinds of crap on his old site with a life of 3 days, then he wants you to advertise here for him? did you fail to see his little threats on his Google group? the next time you get any information like this, I need to know about it prior to posting it.

I removed the advertising on your post.

I think the people banned in the past on this forum need to stay in the past. we discussed the possibility of one of the banned members, I think a conclusion has been made. the whole thing is unfortunate, but I think we can move on from this. I said my peace to Mr. Blevins about his recent move of continuing to disrupt. I'm done with him.

If anyone has any issues about any of this, please PM me. lets put this in the past.

Another refugee, I guess. I'm more of a bystander, but I pipe up now and again when there is perhaps something useful to be said.

Welcome 73blazer, most of the heavy conversation with Cooper is on the Tina Bar section, and the flight path at the moment.

Lots of different opinions on how the money surfaced on the Columbia continue to puzzle us....and then many questions about the path as well. feel free to jump in with any thoughts...

Now, I hate to have to bring this up, but I feel it's necessary. Mr. Blevins has started his 3rd attempt at a new Cooper forum. I don't have a problem with that normally, but if you take a look as to what he has done. it appears to be the biggest hypocritical thing he's done to date.

He is on a free server. Now, Mr. Blevins blasted me for months claiming censorship due to the fact that Google doesn't search out free web forums, and limits the amount of people to that forum, and yet he turns around and does the same?

I was accused of "stealing" posters from Dropzon.com. 1000things seems to be a recruiter for the forum. I received a PM from him, and I'm getting other people stating the same. I can't say one way or the other if he knows about this, but once again it goes back to things he complained I was doing!

Then prior to starting the 3rd forum he used the Google group front page to make threats against posters from this forum threatening to release private information. he has since taken down his garble. I don't know if it was from me sending information to Google, and Sangiro, or not. he put Dropzone in a bad position with that stunt. I sent screenshots prior to him taking it down which his is another trademark of his flip flopping, and constantly changing his comments.

He has also followed the same style this forum has. I take that as a compliment. ;D

I can't tell anyone what, or where to go, but you might want to use extreme caution to who you want to be linked with. hopefully this won't turn into a tennis pissing match back and forth with the two forums as DZ did.

Thank You
Dave Brown (aka Shutter)

ADDED: it can be discussed, but in a civil manner!!

I received a PM from 1000things also.

I think it's a good thing.  It gives Robert a place to post and any response he gets from the FBI is newsworthy, even though I suspect it will be something along the lines of "Thank you for you submission.  You can be assured we will give it appropriate consideration, as we do all submissions".

The problem he has is the number of people interested in the case is fairly small and it's tough to start a new forum unless someone with a great deal of knowledge joins his site, which is unlikely.  But, if it's a distinct group over there, hopefully it's less likely to have bickering between the sites.

Thanks Mark, as I stated, I don't have a problem with anyone starting a Cooper forum, or anything on the internet. however, he tried for months on end to try and destroy what we were doing here, and now seems to be following my footsteps by doing exactly what I did. again, I have no problem with that either, but he painted an entirely different picture during my steps into the creation of a forum. I'm sure he's doing the exact same thing by going with a free forum to see if an investment is worth while. but it appears once again to be perfectly fine on his end. he was basically posting non stop for over 4-5 months over, and over how Google can't see the forum, and it censors the public etc etc.

I put a lot of time, and effort into this. so, I have a little bit of a different view. I was constantly under the microscope. perhaps he will take a different approach about this. the Google Group message was not a very good sign, so just like the rest. I'll watch, and see how things go....I'm sure it will be a little bumpy at the start. it's to be expected. he was a major contributor to the closing of a long running thread. I don't put all the blame on him, but a large percentage.

Some of it is just lashing out because he's hurt about not being allowed to post here.  And, I'm not sure he even recognizes why.  It's pretty telling when he keeps posting that snippet of his article about the negative type of people in Cooperland and seeing that's he's describing himself to a "T".

By the way, the Twilight Zone episode I described that reminded me of that (the guy that wanted to make all the evil people in the world 2 feet tall so they'd be able to be identified -- not realizing he was one of the evil people himself) was on TV the same day they closed the thread on DZ.

Agreed, but lashing out typically fades quickly. he stayed on it from the start two three times a day for months. that's way over lashing out. he was always instigative, and did have an agenda to try and destroy this forum. I still don't believe he thinks he did anything wrong that got him banned from here in the first place. perhaps I carry more bitterness than others, but i was the one under fire......it's always easier looking in from the outside!
