Have you ever thought of Clara being lied too?
Of course, but Clara says she removed his boots, she destroyed the chute... in the first person here... not that she was told by LeClair that he wore boots, not loafers, that he destroyed the chute himself, etc.
Yes. She is the first person when she said she helped destroy the "bright red and yellow chute". I dismissed her story after reading this on page 16 in Gunther's book.
Did you read 377's post about military chutes and the reasons for their colors? Cooper jumped with a military chute. It would have not been bright red and yellow in color.
Also, you have stated that the tie LeClair wore to work, prior to leaving his first family, was Cooper's tie. If LeClair left his family without a plan and just disappeared, why would he bring his tie cross country to his next adventure as a hotel maintenance guy? He did not leave his job and disappear. He left the family home and disappeared. The first time he tried to leave his family he made it look like he had drowned in the ocean. Yes, he had clothes stashed, but a suit and tie?
