It's your forum Mr. Shutter so you can make the rules, but Jo is an old ill woman who desperately needs a DBC forum. I hope you will consider giving her a conditional re-admission. Old people really need a social connection and I fear that the DZ forum was the entirety of her social world. Give it some thought. It would be an act of kindness to give her another chance. She might behave and if she did not you could permaban her.

I emailed Yellow and he gave a very convincing answer denying that he was Farflung... but Farflung is clever enough to fool 377 any day.

I understand your point, but I think it causes her more aggravation than anything. certain steps must to be taken before any consideration would change my mind. this is not just my decision, we discussed it over a year ago. I like to keep everyone in the loop of what goes on with this forum.

To date, I don't believe we have had any bickering going on with this forum. sure, we have had some disagreements, but nothing that disrupts the forum. now, Galen was a different story. I received a lot of complaints on his behavior. the problem was resolved. I wish the guy would put aside his problems with Blevins, and Jo. I think he could be an important part of this team.

As for Yellow, lets just hope you are wrong. has anyone tried contacting him. I'm sure that's a dumb question, but it must be asked.

How about it folks. Give Jo a probationary re-admission?

Remember when she was banned from here she still had the DZ forum available. Now that it's shut down she has lost what I fear is her primary social connection. That can be devastating to an old person living alone. I think allowing her back on would be a compassionate act. If she misbehaves then Mr. Shutter can permaban her.

At the risk of scorn from my colleagues, I vote yes.

I vote NO!  But as you say, Shutter has the only vote that gets counted.

Jo and Blevins have delayed the resolution of the Cooper matter by several years in my opinion.  Jo is NOT that old and I frankly doubt that she is as ill as she has been claiming for the last 10+ years or so.

There is nothing on this site that would help cure Jo of her problems, which are emotional in my opinion.  In fact, it would probably be better for her if she had to confront her problems and get professional help for them.  In my judgment she needs to see a shrink, and I doubt if there is one on this site.

Jo (and Blevins) must surely have realized what the end result of her DZ postings would be.  If she didn't, are you sure that she is bright enough to be here in the first place?

While we have this in the open I need to point out several things. first of all, I started this forum basically to get away from the bickering. I also admit to being part of it, so I'm no angel either. we all know she doesn't work well at all with Bruce. I see nothing but trouble right from that stand point alone.

Bruce, and Vicki will have the final answers to anything about admission. I can think of 3 more people that will not agree to any of this. Jo has done a lot of damage and I'm not sure it can be repaired. I can be very forgiving if the circumstances allow it. at the present moment I don't see any. I stayed in contact with her all the way through her removal at the start of this thread, but I stopped once she attacked a personal friend of mine!

I will listen to what the room has to say about this current issue you brought to the table....

Fair enough?

Jo says she doesn't need or want the DZ, or this forum. She says she is content with her dossier, the FBI, and the unnamed associates she says who help her.  Her two emails to me over the last two days were lengthy and substantive. She didn't sounds panicky or needy. She even called once, today, and sounded like the old Jo.

That said, I really don't know what Jo needs or wants, but I DO know what I need and that is a Jo-Free Zone.  The girl knows she can call and email anytime...(and does....). In the meantime, I need adult company.

One more thing about Jo. She makes OTHER people crazy, and those people in turn drive ME crazy.

Just sayin'....

However, I'm not comfortable being in the driver's seat about Yea or Nay on Jo, but I support whatever the community says is best for the community. But if the cops show up and ask me about the latest ramblings, accusations, and pronouncements of forensic evidence that implicate me in some crime, I'm calling YOU GUYS no matter the time difference and YOU know who you are!!!

You have been duly informed.

Just sayin'.

Another suggestion, Shut. Why not offer Jo conditional postings, where she can email you her concerns and you review them. If they're not totally insane, then share them here.

The woman needs a goddamn filter, and she can't provide it. So...

Thanks Bruce, I guess I should of been a little more clear. what I was implying is that your decision, along with Vicki's would have been the strongest points to my final decision. I wouldn't of allowed it if either of you were against the lifting of the ban.

Robert99, thank you for your input as well.

If what Bruce is saying is true that she doesn't want to be a part of the forums anymore, I think we can move on from this discussion...

I had thought of that earlier, but I haven't really responded to her emails in months...if it's something of value, I'm sure the message will get through...

Does it really make a difference one way, or the other with Jo?  :P

My opinion (not sure if I have a vote) is no go on Jo.  She is a ball of negativity and I don't see what she could add around here.  She can head over to Robert's Google group and continue her postings there, if she feels the need.  We all have different points of view around here, but I like to think we can express our thoughts and challenge each other's opinions without personal attacks and rambling posts which dominate the thread.  No go on Jo & bad mojo.

My two cents....we can go down this path with Jo if we want to, but we all know where it leads.  One of the reasons this site was started, besides the bickering, was Jo and Robert dominated every discussion.  Jo has accused Bruce of murder, Georger of being part of the JFK conspiracy (as a teenager, I believe!) and called Vicki a "sneaky snake".  Rumor also has it that she was the one responsible for Carr leaving the thread.

I feel sorry for Jo losing her outlet, but I can't imagine it turning out well.  It's your site and your choice, Shutter, but my vote would be "no".

Another thought:  Posting was a huge part of Jo's social life everyday, but that was also true of Robert.  I don't see anyone advocating giving him a "probationary" account.
