parts of the coastline might be a different story, but I can assure you that it was nothing in regards to a hurricane where I live.
No damage was reported in Broward County by Thursday evening. The county hopes to reopen Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and the cruise ship hub of Port Everglades on Friday, and to resume Broward County Transit bus operations. Drawbridges, which were locked down during the storm, will resume to normal operations Friday at 6 a.m. Hurricane shelters will close.

when I first put the radar up on this forum, you could clearly see very little yellow, and red in the bands. it rained hard several times, but nothing major. it continued to rain lightly throughout the day yesterday. this report I gave was hours after the storm had passed. typically, after a hurricane the canal behind me reaches heights close to the back of my shed some 10 feet away from the bank. the water level has not risen much since the start of the week.
They closed the roads at 3pm. I went to the gas station for soda and was joking with the people there that I knew. "where is the storm" some places started to reopen there business since the danger had passed. Exxon, Cumberland Farms, Big Dogs bar, A to z store all reopened while the storm was just north of us.
what predictions are you referring too?
