Bruce you say:  "But now that the case is closed, someone should have enough muscle to get access to this kind of information. It is certainly the direction we should be pursuing, despite the head winds."

I say:   "Curtis Eng is a very smart guy and must have closed the case for other reasons than mentioned. Looks to me like the CIA stepped in and told the FBI to close it as we were getting too close on this Forum to proving Sheridan Peterson is DB by the FLAW we found in his phony alibi that he was delivering one of his children in Nepal at the time of NORJAK. The FLAW was that both of his children were born in years other than 1971 (NORJAK) with the son born in 1970 and the daughter in 1972 and both in Nepal.
So, was Sheridan working for the CIA having sold (NORJAK)  to the CIA guys that he talked with in Vietnam who were ex-smoke jumpers as he was? He worked on the plan for over ten years and getting support from the CIA to make the Airlines go along with beafing-up airport security. That might also explain why Sheridan kept saying the three of us (Bruce, 377, and Sailshaw) were CIA. Right? His interview during the History Channel 4 hr show kind of indicates that he is the guy. Curtis Eng was too quick to close the case and not do the suggested charge Sheridan with "lying to the FBI a Federal crime with jail time" and trade jail time for Sheridan's confession that he is DB and tell us how the rest of the Cooper story went, what happened to the loot and etc..."

Georger:   Time to take your pills again as just dribble is coming out of your mouth. You say "Extra-terrestrials? "
Georger, when you have nothing to say that is intelligent, just say some thing stupid! I would rather you stick to the facts.

Bruce:  If you review what Sheridan said in his interview with the History Channel 4 hr show, when asked if he talked to any ex-Smoke Jumpers in Vietnam he answered "yes and they were all CIA". Does that mean he was CIA too as he was an ex-Smoke Jumper? That may be why Curtis Eng backed off and closed the case. Kind of like they do for Hillary when things get too hot for her.

The closing of the case does seem fishy.

The notion that the FBI doesn't have enough money or "resources" to fight drug cartels and terrorists is bogus. LMNO's Tom Fuentes opened 68 FBI field offices in foreign countries when he was Assistant Director for International Operations, and proudly announced that the Bureau is doubling that number currently.

So, the FBI doesn't seem crippled by Curtis Eng and Ayn Dietrich-Williams fielding phone calls and emails from the likes of us... or sending Jimmie and Jake downstairs to chat with you, Sail.

I think you mean "drivel" not dribble!

As in: "drivel is as drivel does" or "dont let me stop your drivel" ?   :))

I agree! One-way conversations by name with FBI agents in an expanding void of avoidance and ambivalence, is a bit "fishy".  Have you channeled Barb Dayton lately?  :))

Barb? No, I haven't.

But I will be channeling Dan Cooper at the Ariel BBQ this weekend, though. I was gonna keep it a surprise, but I just couldn't wait!

Speaking of which - does anyone know if camping is allowed at the Merwin Dam Recreation Area?

Oh, 377, I am just too irresistible.

Besides, don't you want to see me channel Dan Cooper? Now that would make good TV, don't you think?

I do believe he did it but it was self defense his stepfather was a bad man...

Hi Nicky,

Might've missed it, but did you get a chance to respond to Bruce's question yet about what make Rackstraw's step-dad such a bad person that it's okay to murder him?  Reading through some of your other posts, you seem to have multiple connections to the Rackstraw family - I'd appreciate it if you could share more insight regarding the family.

Hey Duckie... You didn't miss it. I just haven't had a chance to get back on here after my last post as Iv'e been rather busy lately. From what I gather from speaking with the family, he was an abusive drunk and a very violent man. There was a lot of animosity between him and bob... they had always bumped heads (two A type personalities I reckon) Anyway I was told his step father found out he was DB Cooper and was trying to use it to extort him for money which lead to a very heated confrontation one day which didn't end well for dear Ol' step dad.

Interesting.  Don't suppose one of these family members has any proof that Bob was DBC???  And how again do you know the family?

And how many shots to the head did Philip get? Reports say "execution style."

That's before he was buried, with the bloody jacket around his head, which was then destroyed pre-trial by members of the Calaveras County Sheriff's Department.

Tough neighborhood, eh?

Duckie a little back story. What got me interested in Cooper was that for years my uncle Adrian would tell my family that he worked with who he believe was DB in Iran in 71. He said his name was Bob Rackstraw and he was the most amazing man he has ever met. Then I saw the HC Docu and showed my uncle and since then we have launched our own investigation. I have been able to find many of bobs family members through facebook and I have reached out... My uncle also was able to track down some former co workers of theirs and must I say the things we have heard from these people are truly mind blowing. To answer your initial question Duckie yes... first I got his step daughter who says her mother told her that when bob had a stroke in 2013 and thought he was going to die confessed to her that he collaborated with other vets to pull of the heist. I also have another family member that claims to have seen the ransom money and believes it is hidden aboard his boat poverty sucks.
