Jason, are you aware that more than $5,800 was found on the beach? Brian had his bills checked by PSGS, and nearly 3 dozen more serial numbers were found, the $5,800 is now inaccurate...

PCGS Currency Notifies FBI OF "D.B. Cooper" Serial Numbers

PCGS Currency Certifies Legendary “D.B. Cooper” Skyjacking Ransom Notes
Nearly two dozen $20 denomination notes from the infamous 1971 “D.B. Cooper” skyjacking have been certified by PCGS Currency on behalf of the owner who found them a quarter-century ago.

In addition, Brian recounted his memories regarding the money find in an interview with his local paper in 2008.

Brian Ingram, who is now 34 years old, came across a buried bundle of twenty-dollar bills in 1980 while camping with his family on the banks of the Columbia River in Washington state.

“We were going to make a campfire,” Ingram said during a telephone interview. “My dad was getting ready to put the wood down, and I was smoothing the sand. That’s when I found what felt like old newspaper.”

If I recall, the last tally was estimated at around 6200 bucks, no?

14-20s at the feds, and the rest was divvied between Global Indemnity and the Ingrams.

What has Global done with them? Anybody know?

I haven't a clue what they did with them. is there a way to reach them, or ask someone who would know? I've always wondered what they did with them, and how many more numbers are stuck between there bills?  C:-)

I would like to take a moment and thank everyone for making things happen here. all of you are important to this forum, this includes the visitors, and the ones who joined, but haven't commented much.

We have some V.I.P.'S on here, and lurking in the background. I've been on the phone with them, and they were impressed with our site, and knowledge. we have shown Dropzone.com that we can indeed get along and make progress in this thing called DB Cooper. I truly appreciate how everyone had enough trust in me to follow me in this adventure. I'm just a guy who found a lot of interest in an old unsolved case. it takes all of us to make this happen, and I believe we have made a lot of progress in this case. new things have been brought to the public, and we have a had some ups and downs, but you guys made it happen. I just turned the key on, you guys applied the gas.....

Thanks to you Shutter for creating a Phoenix that arose from the scorched ashes of DROPZONE. It has worked remarkably well.

I still wish that you could create a walled playpen on this site for Jo and others rather than banning them, but it's your site and you call the shots.

377, I can understand your position as an attorney and a member of the ACLU that Jo has a "constitutional right" to make any claims, true or false, that she wants to.

But offhand, I can't remember a single "true" claim that Jo ever made.  Her "false" claims include taking articles straight off the CIA's public web site and rewriting them to include imaginary heroics by her late husband.  And her late husband, a professional jailbird, is probably the absolutely last person on the planet that the CIA would ever have anything to do with.

Jo still has an outlet for her posts.  The recent evidence indicates that she regularly posts President Obama, the Guardian and Sunday Times newspapers in London, and a full paragraph of other e-mail addresses.  She will probably be copying things to "The Donald" soon, if she is not already doing so.

Sweet Jo has called me a moron, a phony, an ass, a plant from the FBI to make sure the Cooper hijacking is never solved (her silliest claim of all), and other such things.

In my humble opinion, the only appropriate walled playpen for Jo would involve a straight-jacket and padded walls.

And in my judgment, this thread greatly benefits from the fact that Shutter has the guts to keep Jo, Blevins, etc. off the thread.

Jo has regular contact with me and other members of the forum. She posts regularly on my website. I've had pleasant email exchanges with her. Bruce regularly posts her latest claims on this forum. Her voice is heard here. I support the status quo; we don't need a daily deluge of words to chew through. I, personally, believe her two decades of experience in this case make her a decent resource (if and when she chooses), but, I've been reading through the DZ archives over the last two years... we don't need that here.

I had a first with Jo last night. She hung up on me!

She had called me, again - it happens about once a month - and I kept telling her that I didn't want to hear her ramblings about finding Duane's grandparent's vacation spot in Washington from the 1920s. Then, with no warning - CLICK!

That's enough Jo Weber for me, guys. Thinking about having to skim past her rants here puts my stomach into knots.

Back to the matters at hand - you say there was no fragment "field". Please explain (somewhere on this board).

I've been a little busy lately and haven't had much time for Mr. Cooper  O0

What's everyone else's excuse? what happened to Bruce? it's been over 2 weeks since he signed in?

Now it appears the 333 exemption for the drone's will no longer be needed, $2,500 down the drain  >:(
an aeronautical knowledge test will be put in place and no longer require a pilots license  8) (part 107)
as usual, it all boils down to $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

DB COOPER – 4x60min – Premieres Sunday, July 10 at 9 p.m.

On November 24th, 1971 a man dressed in a suit and tie hijacked a Northwest Orient flight bound for Seattle, Washington. He said he had a bomb and demanded 200-thousand dollars in cash and four parachutes.  Once he got his ransom, the man jumped into the night, never to be seen again.  In the more than 45 years since the epic heist, the FBI has looked at over a thousand potential suspects, but the questions remain: Who is DB Cooper? Did he die? Did he live? And is he still out there?  Now, in this four hour documentary series, viewers will go on the trail gaining an unprecedented perspective from the FBI, including exclusive access to the evidence, while a former FBI agent and a crime journalist dive deep into the case revealing new information through exclusive interviews with nearly 20 experts and insiders, including the only people ever to come face to face with the hijacker.  Plus, a citizen sleuth and his team of forty investigators reveal the findings of their five year investigation arriving at an explosive conclusion.

“DB Cooper” is produced by LMNO for History.

I uploaded the promo/teaser video for the upcoming History Channel show about DB Cooper onto my Youtube page. Sorry for the poor video quality. I used my cellphone and filmed my computer screen. 8)

Teaser video for the new Documentary on July 10th. Uploaded by The History Channel.

Ok, now, for the last time, Robert Blevins will never be welcome on this forum. you want me to have sympathy for someone who spends most of his time banging on everything said here? telling people he was "auto banned" , or saying bad things about Bryan's mother? he can't even read the thread correctly, I never said I was going to sneak Bruce into the BBQ.

Jo, I really don't have a problem with Jo, but a majority of the members here really didn't want another DZ to start up here again with Jo on the forum, plus she has told me multiple times that she only wishes to read the forum. I like Jo, but I don't agree with any of her evidence proving Duane was Cooper.

Robert has sent the FBI two PDF's full of his so called evidence, and yet all you hear is crickets. Weber, Kenny, and LD are in the category of "old news" it's ridiculous. most of us share the same thoughts as the FBI, so I guess we are in good company and the FBI should also be noted as (detractors) they don't buy into it either.

For all anyone knows, we all might be looking for a new hobby anyway come July 10th.  O0

They have a place where they can discuss what ever they wish, but it's more of a website vs a discussion forum since no discussion occurs, except the administrator (laughs)
