Correct, even the traffic controllers didn't really tell them in time with the altitude. it was the last seconds they realized they were too low striking the ground with the wing first. what do you think about the sightings on the planes that had 401's parts?

The crash site is also very close to the Valuejet that drilled into the Glades further north close to the same levee as 401. pieces of 401 are still out there......it's about a 20 minute drive from my house...
