I'm beginning to think about a DB Cooper Symposium for the 45th Anniversary. Maybe at Thun Field. Gather locals such as the Formans and Sail, Everett Johnson, Cliff Kluge, and Bruce Thun, and other associated with the case. Maybe the family of Stan Gilliam. Maybe Norman will come out of hiding now that Coss is dead.

A big draw would be the passengers. Maybe they would like to have a reunion of sorts, eh?

Could be a fun time. I like the idea of holding it on Saturday, November 25, 2016, since I won't be at the party in Ariel.

I have a whole bunch of idea's if you really want to do this. the idea of an airport is the perfect surrounding.

I think that's an EXCELLENT idea! People could fly in!  Could a corporate jet land there - wherever this is? Thun Field? Will look it up. Hmmmm. Thomas could fly in. In any event its an idea!! Is it near accommodations? Can 377 parachute into this place?        Cooperland needs some good news, and good times. How much would it cost us?

Thursday, November 24, 2016 is the 45th anniversary of the hijacking and is Thanksgiving Day this year.
Friday, November 25, 2016.
Saturday, November 26, 2016.

All kidding aside I think this has real possibilities and could set a precedent. I will bet Geoff Gray would come if this happens. I hope there is support for this!

One key is getting the right people behind this ASAP. With the right people it can happen. 

Regardless of what happens at Ariel, this could happen very easily with the right people supporting it.

Ariel is a celebration theme. it has nothing to do with researching the case. they discuss it, but the core of it is celebrating a hijacking. I'm sure it's good old fashion fun, but what will come of it now...who knows...
