That is possible, but Bruce has also tried calling Bryan and he's not responding. Robert can't control Bryan's phone contact, too. At this point, if I'm Bruce, I'd leave a message saying he's about to post an article on MountainNews about the fund raiser and how some of the Cooper fans are being alienated -- and he'd like to give Bryan a chance to respond before he publishes it. And, he'd like to do it by phone. If Bryan didn't write those emails, he might call back with "why would Cooper fans be alienated by this?". If he doesn't call back, he must not care what Bruce writes.
I have called Bryan multiple times. He has never answered his phone, and a message machine never kicks in, so I have been unable to leave a message.
I have attempted to contact Bryan via his Facebook page, but to no avail. I have contacted others in the Woodruff/Elliott clan via Facebook, but so far no one has responded to my invitation to discuss what is going on.
This kind of behavior is not the Bryan I knew in the past, November-December 2015 when Dona passed. Bryan always answered his phone, was warm, and very personable. We chatted at length about Dona, the restoration, and how he and his family was coping.
I never had an email address for Bryan, not until a week or so ago when "he" emailed me. Whether it is Bryan or someone else, I don't know. However, when I was in the Ariel Store with Meyer back in August 2013 I didn't see any computers laying around, nor have I ever heard of a website for the Ariel Store. Dona's business card for the Ariel Store didn't post a website or email address. I strongly doubt she had a computer, and I wouldn't be surprised if Bryan hasn't had one, either. Maybe he does now, since "he" is sending out emails, but it could all be a conceit conceived by others.
To get the full story, I'll need to go down to Ariel and talk to Bryan directly.
