Greetings - hope everyone has had a nice holidays - so Happy New Years to all.

I apologise for any inconvenience in the past week or so. I will be on my best behavior from here on out. Thanks to all! Sincerely - Georger.

BTW we are smack in the middle of a blizzard - winter storm called Goliath. States east are even worse than us after many problems in the southern States as this system developed before moving north. To see where the storm is currently see: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

At present this storm stretches from the UP of Michigan all the way to Florida. Now I must go out and get some snow blowing done ... later. And thanks again to all.

We still need the Georger personality...perhaps I could phrased things differently myself....

anyway, it's currently 80 degree's down here....someone send some cool air my way please  :'(

The temperature is predicted to be in the mid-20s with snow at my house in Southern Arizona tonight.  You can have all you want of both of them.  Just come and get them.

Thanks Shutter. I made a wrong assumption and acted too quickly. As far as cool weather, sorry. At least you didn't get ripped by Goliath and you can count your blessings for that. It's been unusually warm here this winter ... until today.

That's what my friends at Scottsdale said ... don't worry it will switch back ... always does in AZ. Thanks R99.

I want to wish everyone a wonderful New Year and many blessings for the coming year.  I mean this sincerely.  There has been a lot of negative energy on this website at times.  I believe this is a combination of “carry-over” from the dropzone and just the nature of internet forums in general.  Many online conversations seem to lack a sense of decorum, and here, people attack one another on a fairly regular basis.  I am just as guilty of this as anybody else here, if not more so.  I’ve more than happy to point out people’s personal shortcomings and participate in ad hominem attacks.

That being said, one of my top New Year’s resolutions is to be a positive force on this website.  I’m going to work on being more open minded and accepting of others opinions.  I want people to view me as a resource and an asset, and not as a detractor of the opinions and beliefs of others that aren’t in line with my own.

This isn’t a speech to show everybody what a great guy I am, or to try to shame others into modifying their behavior.  I just want to share the fact that I’ve not always acted in a way that I’m proud of here.  I am working on changing this.

The Cooper case is a tough one. This case has very little evidence and even fewer facts.  That being said, we have the wonderful benefit of the hard work and progress made by the people who previously worked on the case.  Some of these folks are right here on this website.  What an asset!  I honestly believe that working together, we can move this case forward, and dare I say, possibly resolve it.  This could happen.

Again, I’m admitting I’ve been negative towards some folks.  I am going to work hard on changing that.  After all, we have a lot more in common, than we have differences.

Happy New Year,
Ross Richardson

Ross:  You say: "The Cooper case is a tough one. I would like to remind you that the FBI has evidence that they have failed to look at that could blow this case wide open and that is the DNA under the stamps/envelope flaps of the four letters sent just after Norjak by DB Cooper to the newspapers. A comparison of that new DNA with what the FBI already have from Sheridan L. Peterson will show a match and prove he was in the Portland area (the scene of the crime) and not in Nepal as his phoney alibi goes.

This case can be solved that easily but it looks like the FBI is failing to act and have been ordered "stand down" by their leaders. It is now 44 years since Norjak and time the case is solved before my #1 suspect Sheridan is dead of old age (he is about 89 years old now) and living in California. This requires the FBI to think a little bit outside their box and is the reason it has taken so long to solve.

I passed this quick solution on to the FBI Seattle Office about 2 years ago, but they have not responded. It would catch Sheridan in lying to the FBI, a Federal Crime, and jail time could be traded for the whole story from Sheridan to stay out of jail.

I hope everyone had a nice holiday break.

Mine was pretty simple. it's still hard trying to continue Christmas, thanksgiving etc. without my father around. I battle the loss everyday, but the holiday's make it worse....

Anyway, I got the usual. clothes, tools, and my favorite...Chromecast  :P works pretty good.
