If they were continuous how did they know the chute went out the back...

The aluminum aircraft fuselage is a reasonably good RF shield. The chase planes probably did not hear strong signals from the McCoy beacons until they were outside the fuselage on their way down.

Almost certainly not. I have NEVER seen 121.5 pinger beacons inside civilian rigs. Civilians carry beacons externally. Breitling even made one built into a wristwatch. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Might the FBI have planted beacons inside Norman's rigs? Doubtful. If the one at the WA History Museum was never opened after Norjak it could be unpacked and inspected. The packing card should show its complete inspection and repack history.

Jumping next Saturday. Just dropped off my rigs with my rigger to get inspected and reserves repacked.

It's strange trusting your life to a bunch of fabric and thread, but it's worked for me for over 50 years.

Twice I have had to go to plan B but that worked too.

The thrill never wears off. The rush as you leap out the door and begin freefalling is just amazing. The fear as you pull, waiting for your canopy to open, is sobering, almost sickening actually. If something goes wrong you simply don't have much time to deal with it.

And all this is wearing two chutes on a sunny day over a large clear DZ. I can't even imagine what Cooper felt.

I think the timing and the date are critical here - 11/26 two days AFTER the hijacking at 3:30PM. in the afternoon. The pinger going off is tracked as moving first NEAR EVERGREEN AIRPORT, JUST EAST OF VANCOUVER, WASHINGTON, THEN HEARD SECOND TIME NEAR REYNOLDS ALUMINUM PLANT WEST OF VANCOUVER. HEARD FOR APPROXIMATELY FIVE MINUTES then SIGNAL FADED OUT. 

So heard at locations separated by miles traveling east-to-west all in the space of five minutes. How fast is it moving?  What is the distance between these two locations spanned in the space of five minutes ? It almost has to be airborne doesn't it ?

If you read it that way then yes - no way to calculate. But its obviously in motion ...

Some people keep saying the FBI planted a pinger in the chute(s) or money. That is doubtful. Who in the case at Seattle would have been familiar with such devices and technically trained to do that?  ;)

Ironically, neither Hayden nor Cossey mentioned it.

Thus, if a pinging device was inserted into the chutes, it must have been done once it passed from Georger Harrison's hands at the NWO freight desk and onto the tarmac driver and FBI/FAA agent and/or the Seattle PD detective supposedly out with the chutes and money bag in Al Lee's vehicle..

This would be that "funny stuff" Cooper was against. they didn't know what chutes he was taking nor did they think he would open one on the plane. the signal heard days later would imply Cooper turned the device off and jumped and then for some reason turned it back on days later.

Cooper never mentions it. the files state nothing about it. I doubt it's been held back from everyone. it just didn't happen.

This actually makes some sense. All of it.

Chute follow up as its unfolding today (right now) at MN:

Everybody got it.

I’ll be here all week and don’t forget to try the veal.

    Bottom line, Hayden got back his chute that was never given to Cooper and Cooper jumped with Cossey’s chute.

and Georger is wrong,, Hayden got back his own chute, it just was never given to Cooper, his other chute was and it was left on the plane.
