It is in one of the Geoffrey Gray files.. p10 in the DOC marked as p12

I found that there was a radio GPS system launched in 1971.. called OMEGA

Don't know if there was a portable receiver for it though or how exactly it was accessed... still looking

It uses a VLF radio signal.. 10-14 KHZ

.

The version I have says something different.

Actually, that isn't funny.. the radio is very significant

You are ahead of yourself again, as usual.

There is nothing in this that says the radio was for Cooper! Stop leading us to 'your' final conclusion like sheep.

No, just way ahead of you..

Nothing says it wasn't for Cooper, Tina asked to get the radio, he answered in the affirmative.. so he knew about the radio...  Why would the crew need another radio..

That radio is probably something the FBI has held back.. nice to get more info on it..

CONSOLAN could be used for positioning with a simple radio receiver...

Are you BULLJAX the arrogant Canadian (semi pro) gamer, who advertises Red Bull energy drink?

Jo Weber said you were, back in 2013 when you appeared out of nowhere on Dropzone. You asked Quade to kick her off her own forum ... then you departed in a huff after several months.  :chr2:

OH! And produce the WHOLE DOCUMENT that includes the snippet you posted? The snippet you posted you have had for some time! Why toss it in today for diversion? Post the whole document, Mr. Gamer.

Getting your information from Jo Weber explains your inability to understand simple Cooper case concepts.

Using your ad hominem attacks AGAIN just proves you are desperate to maintain some relevancy in this case.

I said where the entire document came from, you mean you don't already have it?

go get it yourself. What is this grade school.

Flyjack, you left part of this out...it continues to state "maps and radio for cockpit communications"...both more than likely went to the cockpit..

EU the second part of your comment about Carr being wrong about the flaps can be viewed in the files as well..Cooper did ask for the flaps to be AT 15 "you can trim the to 15"

Just to be clear, I know that Cooper requested the flaps at 15. I was pointing out that Carr had previously posted that Cooper DID NOT request the flaps to be set at 15 which is incorrect.

I don't think maps would be of any value to Cooper either..he would of seen a lot from the last thousand or so feet prior to landing to get a fix on which way to proceed once he landed..

It's also interesting that Boeing tested the airstairs, either down or removed, with a flap setting of 25...I think the speed was about 125 kts.

good catch,

but that can also be read as Cooper to cockpit communication.. not necessarily for the cockpit "crew". Why would they need a radio?

Cooper could have asked for a radio to communicate with the cockpit...  to get a radio

Boeing tested with airstairs removed, it was thought to be secret info but I recently found a media report on it from the 60's..

so, the 727 rear airstair drop could have been known by anybody prior to NORJAK...

The interphone would work just fine and Cooper used it..he would of told them everything was fine on the "radio" vs the interphone..

perhaps R99 can explain the need for a radio...I'm only a sim pilot lol

interphone is stationary,, a radio is mobile as he moves in the plane/airstairs..

but it may have been a ploy to get a radio,,

we need more info on that radio.. for who and what type and if Cooper took it.. or not

I can't even guess why the crew needed a radio that Cooper knew about.

CONSOLAN - was a long-range navigation aid that is received via a simple radio.
